Can someone tell me the watch order for Higurashi as I’m currently watching this season(2nd) and someone told me to watch Umineko after this.

Umineko anime is widely considered as botched adaptation, so don't bother.
If you really want to, just check out VN.

The anime of Umineko is poor, the visual novel is better than this

The manga is also pretty good. Just definitely know about Umineko prior to watching Gou and Sotsu

Watch the original When They Cry S1 and Kai.
Don't bother watching onwards. Save yourself it's so awful beyond that for higurashi. Kai ends with an extremely good conclusion so you won't feel like you're missing out on anything.

Umineko's anime is infamously bad so don't bother. try a different adaptation or play the visual novel. ( I haven't seen any of it myself tho)

The way it goes is Higurashi (2006), Higurashi Kai, Higurashi Rei, Higurashi Outbreak and Kira (both optional), Higurashi Gou (kind of a reboot but it is really Higurashi season 3), and finally there is Higurashi Sotsu (Gou and Sotsu might go after the next entry because I haven’t watched it yet and don’t know if it contains spoilers for the sequel). If you want to keep going with the When They Cry franchise from there then read the Umineko When They Cry visual novel or manga (don’t watch the anime because it was left unfinished), and finally the most recent installment is Ciconia When They Cry which is an ongoing visual novel.

Baaed on what I've heard from my friends who've seen it Umineko very nearly wraps all the way around bad back into being so bad it's good.
