Anime first, then the manga. You could either pickup where S1 left off, or just start from the beginning since it's a fairly quick read.

Well anime is an almost perfect adaptation of the first 30 something chapters so I’d say watch the anime and then read the manga

You should firstly watch anime, then read manga from the beginning. Manga and anime have very different and unique art style so it would be easier getting into manga if you can compare what happened in the anime to the manga

Both honestly. The anime despite being cgi looks absolutely beautiful the ost's are great too on the other hand the manga's artstyle is really creepy but that's what makes it amazing imo.

the anime is a beautiful adaptation and basically is a good spring board into the manga since not too much happens in comparison

I really enjoyed the anime and then I tried to read the manga, and it was kinda convoluted and confusing, didn’t really enjoy it much. If you really like the anime, go for it, but if you watch it and don’t love it, you aren’t really missing out on a ton imo
