Well, we can't say anything from just one episode. And the story itself is original with no source material to refer to. So I think need to wait for the series to finish to come to a conclusion

Guilty crown I see that yes, monster of the week story like takt also kinda. Harem I highly doubt, it's at most gonna be a love triangle. For the characters and power up it gives me darling in the franxx vibes, ofc without the mecha and post apocalyptic setting

Disagree. I don't know why so many people link it with Takt OP destiny. Takt OP was a gacha game ad with good animation. Engage Kiss is an anime original with a very good writter behind it. Considering Marutos past works, the strength behind this show will probably be a very dramatic story.

They are not the same. Both DAL and AoT have had LN and Manga before and the game builds on that popularity. Engage kiss is not like that, both the game and the anime are announced at the same time, the anime comes out first to promote and create momentum for the game.

This is also a mixed-media project like Takt.Op was/is, which is why people are making the comparisons.

Feels more like Guilty Crown in actual execution, though.

No listen, Takt OP is beautiful, but that's all it has going for it.
While Engage Kiss is full of surprises that one will either like or find distasteful. Both are forgettable shows.
Guilty Crown although hated (no Idea why) will stay in our memories.
