So how is this serialized? Monthly or weekly, and are there any group that translates the new chapters as they come?

It's published in a monthly magazine, but, judging from the fact that only 1 volume (with 5 chapters) is published per year in Japan, I think the series itself only has a new chapter every other month.

I only read the physical copies, so I don't know if there are any translation groups.

Thank you so much for answering, from what I've learned it seems that there is no translation groups because it is so much text heavy. I don't have the means to buy volumes but I guess it is what it is, I will just wait for the other volume to be online. Again thank you for answering.

It's serialized in good! Afternoon every month, and no, the series generally doesn't skip any new magazine issues.
I think the chapters are simply divided in parts for the magazine and united together in the compiled volumes.
