Wow. Great start to what i'm told is a GREAT series. I liked the time spent riding the horse and how happy Marco is. And haha and when Marco was trying to chase down the ship his mother was on i was starting to tear up. Its looking good!

I really liked the music that played when Marco considered the fox's life, when his mom took him horse-riding, and during Marco's desperate chase at the end. All slightly different arrangements, which I felt matched the emotional evolution displayed in each scene.

Is it just me or do the Japanese voice actors have vaguely Italian accents? They sound fairly authentic, particularly when when they call names.

Though I can't imagine what little Marco can do in these circumstances, I'm looking forward to whatever adventure this becomes.

Good job being a kid, Marko; messing up his mom's departure. For all he knows she'll be back.

Anyways, after reading the description, I had to see this. It sounded very nice, and looks to be so. I especially like the art, something about the older, more hand drawn look appeals to me. Expecting good things from this.

This seems promsing. Already looking forward to the adventure and what kind of young man Marco will become.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

Pretty great opening episode. The music too is very well done and the animation looks pretty good from what I see. 4/5

I was casually adding old shows I used to watch when I suddenly came across In Search of Mother! I remember bits and pieces of watching some of it when I was a child but I can barely recognize the plot.
I don't know why I couldn't connect the dots between the title and what misery has came upon this family, but I could feel it through their expressions and voices!
This episode made me feel so sad I bet I will be crying in 5 episodes..

DVD subs for this anime are fuckin' horrible. Live-eviL's subs are much better, but are incomplete, only covering up to episode 23, and nothing new coming out since 2017. Guess I'll watch the Live-eviL subbed version up 'till episode 23, then put it on-hold until more episodes get properly subbed. :(
