In episode 1 of the Hope arc, when they show the people who are the remnants of despair on screen, we can see that Chiaki Nanami is one of the Remnants of Despair. But if we watch Danganronpa Despair Arc which is the prequel to the whole Danganronpa games,

. While in Danganronpa 2 the game,

. So who is the Nanami we saw in Danganronpa hope arc in the first episode?

if it is, she's a ghost/memory

im a little confused by what you're asking.
if you're talking about the boat scene in hope, it's a ghost/living memory.

if you're talking about despair arc, that's just normal Nanami.

if you're talking about future arc, I didn't think/don't remember that she was in there, so that's news to me haha.

It's a memory, because Izuru could have reacted if she was there, but he didn't react, plus after she spoke, she disappeared.
