| Oh...the Bad Angels cartel will soon have their time, sooner or later. Not sure I remember the soccer kid Gaowen (I'm pretty sure he has no name in the game), but this is also a pivotal moment for progressing the plot forward with Zhu Yuanda's letter deciphering, bringing Ryo one step closer towards the Chens. And indeed, Ryo finds Master Chen Yaowen of the Chinese dealer company Jiu Feng Co. at the famed Warehouse No. 8, whom the antique dealer Zhu Yuanda a well-known figure in the underworld organization bubble. The Chi You Men cartel where Lan Di is currently situated it, and also the Phoenix Mirror that he desperately seeks, it's the same one that Ryo is after from his father's history, and that's the next segway. Chen sending his own son Guizhang to be Ryo's bodyguard, he's gonna need every help he can get while he works his martial arts and finds more clues, eventually leading to his father's secret room of a family crest heirloom that indeed contains not the dragon, but the other half: the phoenix mirror. Luckily they prevented a snitch from happening, and the phoenix mirror is still in safe hands. The fated journey into the criminal underworld that is Hong Kong, Ryo is fated to condescend with the rivals that come his way, be it the connection between the Mad Angels and Lan Di's Chi You Men cartel. Really anticipating how they will replicate the sequence of events in Hong Kong. |

| Ha, they even did the warehouse sneak scene. A nice episode which points towards the Mad Angels, the real question of how good this adapation will be is whether or not the next episode has forklift racing. |

| Man I hate how the reviews and scores here so low for the show. I think they’ve done a pretty good job of adapting the game. Yea art may not be the best, but it’s more than good enough. The sense of mystery has been replicated very well. |

| Ryo found the second Phoenix mirror while Lan Di has the Dragon mirror. That can't be a coincidence. Looks like we are getting the forklift episode next week. |

| Shenmue is my favorite video game series and so far i'm loving the anime, nice to see the anime expading the story and showing more scenes with Shenhua, Lan Di and much more. If you are loving the anime I recommend playing the Shenmue games as well, it's a unique experience. The anime team is doing a beautiful job in adapting the Shenmue world in anime form, another great episode and i'm looking forward to the next episode. |

| Loved it. Really fateful to the games while making fun new additions/minor changes, as always. The warehouse guard sneak is my favorite QTE from the first game, so it was neat to see it animated. It's great how much focus they're putting on Guizhang and Chen's father-son relationship. It's gonna make the moment hit thrice as much. I'm guessing the next episode will be , and then, in episode 5, Looking forward to it all! :) |
| Using the family crest would be obvious but I totally wouldn't have figured out to use the sword for the other key hole. I honestly can't wait for that creepy stalker guy to be finished off by Ryou. |
