This episode was all fun and games until you realize there's a threat again in the city.

Luckily, here's the main cast fighting the good fight again. Shuuta in particular made good use of his strength. Crazy how all those tornadoes just came swinging by like it's the end of the world.

GourFes will still go on as everyone is excited for it, heinous plans and all to win the Grand Prize for their own prefectures in the 24th Ward.

It's interesting(?) how Kozue wants to see Kinako other than finding her dad Hiroki "Kaba" Shirakawa, a Yuri-festation perhaps (though it's too obvious that that angle won't happen). For now, Mon Jungle's head honcho Hajime Taki is the one to look out for, looks like the stereotypical gang that's operating outside other than SARG to maintain peace.

Asumi's call comes in again, and this time it shows their own otokomiyani stall winning but in the cusp of an oncoming tornado. Once again, it's up to RGB to choose sides from the usual Trolley Dilemma, and each of them will still result in casualties that could affect the future's sequence of events, the difference being in numbers. Of the 3 episodes so far, this is the easiest Trolley problem to understand.

Another case of "fighting the good fight", and every choice made or not can be detrimental if RGB can't work together in their combined psychological willpower (as is with Shuta's superhuman power stopping trailers) to save people, ordinary citizens or people close to them, as Kaba is lost to the tornado.

Wondering when will the plot actually stretch its legs to explore more deeper into the abyss, and now we finally got it from this Joker-like Carneades entity. Just what is really in store going forward???

Another call from Asumi and we already know what that means.

I didn't expect 21 people to die. R.I.P Kaba. :(

Yeah it wasn't bad and I think it's a good thing casualties are possible

I was a little concerned at the start that there wasn't going to be much progress in the overarching story but seems like episode 4 onwards might go darker

Damn what an episode.

Mari chan thicc.

Man Kozue had to see her dad get killed like that. RIP.

What was the ending? There's someone deliberatelyy doing all this to the people of the island? And seems like Asumi chan is working with them or is she working against them? The phone calls basically tell them about a tragedy happening in the future and how to prevent it or reduce the casualities etc. so I'm guessing Asumi is the good person here and helping them and is not working with the dude on the TV.

This was a great episode, felt short. Looking forward to next episode.

The end of an era. Thank you Wit, Mappa and Isayama.
Feeling half happy, half sad.

Weather is man-made already, we are capable of that.

This is by far, best show of this season. Golden black horse. ep 3 just confirmed it.

Good episode! The phone call from Asumi happened again and I'm wondering really who that caller is and if it really is Asumi how does she predict the future like that? I didn't expect Kaba to die and 21 people in total at that...
Seems the choices RGB made were regrettable for them and they are affecting their mental state. We also get introduced to a new character at the end Carneades 'who will thrust choices upon the world for the future.'

Looking forward to the next episode!

Didn't expect some shine going around here, but indeed it did and fuck you Kozue.

Looks like RGB never got the best solution anyways since a lot of people died. Now what I'm asking is how those people never got to move their asses out of the bridge since I can clearly see one lane open even with the truck going sideways. And yeah I guess the tornado is man-made, with this Anon-guy messing around the 24th Ward. There's also the thing that will happen, which is the Ward's incorporation to Tokyo, lots of shit going on.

But besides that, Mari-chan is indeed...decent. And this anime is kind of the same...

I thought a car fell on the teacher. I guess his chances of survival is 0.

The end saved this from dropped hell. I think all this has something to do with megane-kun's dad. How rich are they? I'm thinking he had scientists store her body in some kind of machine.

After futzing around for half the episode, it actually remembered what the premise was and did some of the super powers/saving people from catastrophe thing again. The problem is that the catastrophe in this case is that a tornado would spontaneously appear out of nowhere in the middle of the city in during a sunny clear day, and the only thing that could be done to save everybody was to… uh… clear up traffic, I guess. But they couldn't cooperate, so their old teacher died anyway. All of this turns out to have been the grand plan of an evil clown who has hijacked the broadcast systems and apparently has a weather machine. I'm starting to think that every 40 minutes, the show is just going to skip the rails and careen into a pie factory.

I guess at least it's something, though my god, a spontaneous tornado in the middle of a city and the heroic response is to clear up traffic congestion? I feel like between the neo-terrorist hacker and the mayor's nepotastic son, you could come up with a better evacuation plan than that. Meanwhile, the police are taking a very blasé attitude towards the dude who is single-handedly throwing dozens of cars into the ocean for no reason. I'm with the blonde lady who immediately pulled a gun on the obviously super powered lunatic. You would think that alone would be reason enough to start a panicked evacuation, but everybody was placidly standing around staring at the tornado anyway, so it's questionable if these people are even human at all.

Goddamn, rip Kaba-sensei. But I pray for poor Kozue's heart, girl was already fucked up over Asumi's death, and now she loses her father. Pretty good episode up until the end, I don't know what to feel about that Carneades guy at the end yet.

Also wonder what kind of role those mon-jungle guys are gonna play now.

Anyway, good episode. Good thing the three-episode-rule exists, because the appearance of Carneades (name of a greek philosopher btw) makes this a lot more interesting and exciting.

I wonder why Kozue wants to go to the Gourmet Festival because Kinako is attending other than her dad convincing her to go there. Also it's a fresh of air for the RGB go to on a bath until Kinako appears seeing Ran on bath lol, it's definitely important to get refreshing while go trying to settle the preparation to go help out Mari's shop win the Grand Prize however, the cabbages are all sold out! Shuuta saying that the cabbage is not a regular one and every market are all sold out needed to make an okonomiyaki is the possibility in two routes where the cabbage is either a limited edition due its rarity and value or someone stole/bought them to win the competition, it's quite understandable that the RGB are people with different personalities so in a case of stealing cabbages in Ran's method while Kouki consider that as an illegal activity since he's associated with the police organization and while Shuuta only cares about Azumi, everything just doesn't make sense in their interaction that's causing a lot of conflict, thankfully Kaba got them a package and stack of cabbages which helps to solve the bizarre prior to this and potentially win the Grand Prize for Itadaki. Shuuta and Kaba's interactions are like father and son. The festival is getting real interesting, and oh yeah Mari's okonomiyaki cooking skill never fails to impress me and that transition was interesting.

I didn't know Shuuta's mom was also apart of the competition and Shuuta betraying his own mom was a total downfall of contributing to help his family but that could be a tough decision since Shuuta can be taken an advantage of both of them but man I'd help both of them if I have a strong multitasking. Kozue almost acts like a fangirl for Kinako and I wonder where this is heading. I really dislike Taki and the chance of winning made me doubt that Itadaki is going to win but Kaba is so fucking smart and has the audacity to disqualify the store who is part of Taki's team, what an absolute chad. While the RGB were hopping for Itadaki to win, there is a call from Asumi yet again and the strike going through Shuuta's nose once again is disgustingly beautiful but from Asumi is showing now is the announcement has been decided for the Grand Prize, and the winner is Itadaki but there is an approaching tornado and Asumi is handing out missions for them to do either of these two options that has been similarly done in the first 1 hour episode but making sacrifices for either of those two option this time is sure the most painful thing to witness.

I like how the RGB has someone as their mutuals who they can contact and form different methods to overcome the approaching tornado. That's what I like about the concept of this series that keeps being the same but in different circumstances and events. Hana is so funny when she’s about to shoot Shuuta and I’m glad she’s getting more screen time. Shuuta is so strong he’s able to destroy a truck and oh boy, the tornado is coming on its way while Shuuta is trying to stop Ran and Kouki from arguing but as Kaba Chad said, “Don’t give up” and brace their ability to stop this tornado! All the people were told to go inside the truck and assume that the minorities of the people who were left behind are dead. Kozue should’ve not come to the Gourmet Festival in the first place but glad Kaba is able to protect her while Shuuta goes with his jump boost. Kaba's life went short unfortunately so RIP Kaba the absolute father and teacher chad and the TV is broken, now I need to see what has been brought up with Carneades’s plan! Overall great episode, don’t see why the rating should deserve a 6 rating while the concept itself is quite interesting and every episode has me wondering more and more who is behind all of this. Mad interesting!

Shirakaba defied some guys, and died from a completely unrelated event instead of suffering from the consequences of his good deed. That was very dissatisfying.

The corrupt people plot and the supernatural plot don't seem to go very well together. Even the characters go through them quite separately!

The friendship and conflict between the three guys seem very forced and artificial. I wish they properly explored their individual personalities, their relationships with one another, and the way they deal with problems, so that they can be at conflict with one another while still seeming like friends.

Okay this is a really weird ep for me (and it's ep3). A tornado ???? Just came out of nowhere, destroying the Gourmet fest and killing lots of people. A bomb threat might still be believable but a Tornado appearing out of nowhere ??? Like how, Climate Change, King Ghidorah, Storm (Xmen) ??

Well okay at the end we were reveal with this mysterious Carnedeas who claimed to summon the tornado, maybe it will be explain later, for now I'm scrathing my head

And while the RGB tried to save lives but it was messy and again weird. Koki might the most effective methos but it moves too slow, Ran fast but dangerous, finally Shuta which is the strangest one. Throwing cars off the bridge ?? Why is he doing that ? People can still get out of the car and run. They better learn how to work together if they don't repeat another blunder

Also a very tragic death.... RIP Kaba

I think Kozue was embarrassed to admit she was going to the GourFes for her dad, and so covered it up by saying she was going because of Kinako.

Also, poor Kozue. This is the second time someone died saving her life.

Man that poor girl had to see her dad's death. That was heart breaking. Also why are they telling everyone about the choice making stuff i thought it was supposed to be a secret and only for the rgb??? Bruh wut, idk how to feel about that.
I do like the fact that the casualties can indeed happen if they're not cautious.

Kaba was such a nice character. It's sad that just when Kozue decided to move on she had to witness another tragedy but this time it had to be her dad. Because of this incident her mental trauma will just get more worse.

If those three worked together as a team instead of just doing things their own way without even discussing their plans with each other then there wouldn't have been this many casualties. I hope they learn from this incident.

That twist in the end tho.
I thought this mission thing was only for the RGB. But getting all the civilians into this...it does sound interesting but won't it be boring if everyone is told about a disastrous future and they all just work together to deal with it. Can't wait to see what's gonna happen.

damn, that was heavy. i like the way this show is going. you can't save everyone, and preferred methods will differ precisely because there's always uncertainty and differing degrees of allowable risk or loss. does japan get a lot of tornadoes? i have a feeling that weirdo on TV is setting all of this up.
