1st season is good but second... U can watch 2bd seson until ep 4 cuz after ep 4 its just getting worse. Watch season 1 and 4 episodes of season 2, after this read manga.

S1: Manga and anime they're both done really well
S2: anyone will tell you manga 100%. I've read the TPN manga and honestly it made me cry and manga doesn't usually do that to me 😅

The Promised Neverland was the first manga I ever read. I had no idea a manga was going to be able to make me cry but it actually did.

The first season you can watch the anime but for the 2nd the manga is far better. It would have been probably been my favourite anime but they ruined the adaptation

The first season of the anime makes me want to read the manga. Only took me 4 days to finished it cause it's actually have a pretty good story. 2nd season of the anime adaptation on the other hand is on a different side of the spectrum, they butcher the storyline that have a lot of character development, action, mystery and other plot point that defines the series and makes the anime adaptation unbearable to watch.

Watch the manga, I've read the manga and the anime.
If you are a anime lover, you can watch the first season, then read the manga.
Whatever you do, don't watch season 2 since it's off the tracks.
The manga brings you into a whole new world.
There are so many good arcs that aren't in season 2, they are the main reason why this anime is good.
Season 2 is bullshit since it doesn't have these arcs.
Everything is rushed.

Since when did mangas even have fillers?
Season 2 is slideshow presentation and it has no exciting scenes.
The anime is good because it had those arcs in the manga.

Season 2 has nothing, in the manga was alot of exciting arcs.

Manga.
The Anime is basically completly a different plot, they left out many important things, characters and placed and a whole arc which is basically also makes the Manga.
I have watched the Anime first before reading the Manga. Now i really dislike the Anime lol But I also agree with the others that season 1 only is pretty fine

At least the manga had the Goldy Pond arc, better character development, better backstories for the characters, more intense scenes and deaths, the epic bunker raid, better world building, a better reintroduction for Norman, and interesting internal dialogue. The ending of the manga wasn’t great, but it was infinitely better than the anime ending!

you can’t be serious! Several of the arcs and characters they skipped were vital to the story and the new stuff the anime added in was even worse than anything in the manga! Season 2 didn’t do the manga justice at all!
