Why do people find Boogiepop confusing ?

Ahh shaft right for some reason I thought it was deen.

It's not really shafts fault with fate extra that series was a anime original mess based on a video game thats all down to the fate writer

1. It wasn't a game adaptation...its ctually anime original...I wish it was (that could have been better...that story's good)
2. It's already come out they cut out a lot of his ideas but he's playing nice as much as he let it slip out at times.
3. The garbage execution Shaft gave it...some of the animation was just cringe and the copy paste bland lazy attempt at monogatari-nizing it was pathetic because God forbid they actually put some thought into a series individual aesthetic.

the same thing should have been given to ufotable cause the guys working there at least show they care about the source material, being fans of it. For Shaft it was just a throwaway project they thought they could get away with.
Wish ufotable picks up boogiepop, fate/extra and umineko some day...they deserve better

(we won't go into mekakucity actors)

I didn't say it was a game adaption I said it was a anime original mess BASED on a video game which it was. It was supposed to be "friendly" to people who hadn't played the game before but it wasn't it was more confusing then boogiepop is

I guess some people are just not really paying attention? Like, in watching all of these you really have to be focused on the events for you to follow the timeline of this. And when you get confused on a part, the following event would be spoon feeding you the answer. :o

This requires you to pay attention as you'll find yourself lost in context if you miss out on something.

This is just as taxing and confusing as the 2000 series, but both have a satisfying payoff should you endure the whole thing.
