You can watch the first episode, it's not canonical, but it's still pretty good, and as for the other episodes, there are new scenes, but it's not worth watching, because it's the same as the movie.

I suggest you watch the episode version rather than the movie because there is a certain character's death that has like a bigger impact and honestly feels more heartfelt when compared to the movie.

The first episode is new, its the story before rengoku boarded the train, and a few tweaks in the scenes of the movie's, like a few new vfx (I hope you know what I'm trying to say)

Yeah don’t listen to any of the previous replies because no one seems to know what they’re talking about. There are numerous new cuts and little scene additions beyond the first episode. Additionally, the order of many scenes has been changed around, with the OST changing along with them or new OST being added. Also, improved dialogue sequences, like Enmu having additional dialogue to explain his power, have been added. You can watch either version and be fine though.

There was a new scene with Inosuke going for the attack on akaza in the last episode which wasn’t in the movie, but that’s about it really

I'd recommend atleast watching post credit scenes of the episodes, just for fun would barely take 10 minutes :)
