As an anime-only fan, Am I the only one like Chiho & Maou rather than Emi & Maou?

I don't like typical couples of the same type. as in this story two powerful characters(Maou and Emi), first they are enemies, and eventually, they make a connection then bam. I like couples like Esdeath and Tatsumi, CC & Lelouch, Freezing, batman & wonder woman(justice league 2001)...etc 😅

bro facts, sometimes the side girls are just better and we should see them win more often. idk a lot of examples of this happening but Mashiro-iro symphony did this and it went great imo

I liked them both but author was an idiot by making the mc and chiho end up together rather than with the other girl cause the stuff developed between them was all for nothing...
I remember many people being mad about it too

Yeah well I might be killed but I hated Chiho so I can't agree
I mean at first, she's kinda grown on me since it's been a while
I don't ship Emi and Maou either
Why does everyone have to be a couple ;-;
Though I don't really care who ends up with who though

Just because something is legal it doesn't automatically make it morally right. She's still legally a child and doesn't have the same maturity as he does. She's still in highschool while he was alive 100s of years before she was born leading armies

Common it is just an anime. Some rich people in real-life who are like in their 80s marry 18 year old girls. So if a legal women In an anime loves a demon lord who looks like he is in mid 20s but is 100s of years old is fine in my books

In novel Chiho and Maou end up together but the ending was bad as hell and even I after reading an ending of Chiho and Maou ending together don't support their ship I will rather support Emi and Maou

I don't think anyone ships them at this point. Emi and Maou aren't really a viable pairing until relatively where we are in the manga.

Personally I don't but thats because I feel like Chiho is a bit too young for Maou. I don't know what their actual ages are but Maou feels much more mature the Chiho (maybe 21-25), while Chiho looks and acts like a 14/15 year old. If they both felt like either adults or teenagers I wouldn't have an issue but as it is I don't like that it feels like a child obsesses with their teacher/boss.
