| I personally think its done pretty well but i feel like they could have done it a little better but i can’t point out exaclty what. IMO the manga is the better experience but the anime is good. |

| I'm in episode 13 now and what bothers the most is that the story didn't move at all, Jahy complains that every episode doesn't find a stone, but she doesn't even look for it. The comedy is already getting boring, if it doesn't start developing the real story it will be a gem thrown in the trash. |

| The animation was pretty okay but I would say it could've been better. It was not pleasing enough but I'll still watch the show for the comedy |

| As a big fan of the manga I must say Im disappointed with the anime. The beginning was pretty bad, especially the pacing. Episodes just felt empty and boring. The iconic scenes of the manga lacked impact here. Now thats fixed but the plot progression is pretty messy. The manga is roughly at chapter 70 and this anime will have 24 episodes but has basically catched up already. While the manga started as pure SoL and slowly put more and more plot into it the anime does the opposite, rushing through plot and then needing to fill up the episodes with SoL. This all leads to quite a lot of changes compared to the original which feels weird to me. Its not like that was necessary or makes the experience any better. A single cour would have been better than a double cour imo, since they are running out of manga to adapt and the anime original scenes just feel out of place even though they arent bad individually. Visually the show looks cheap, while the manga was simple but more pretty where it matters. Now I must say I still enjoy the anime, but I only bother because Im a huge fan of the manga. I have seen many others call this show too long, which makes it overall repetitive and boring and I have to agree. I wonder how much imput the author has on the show since the output of her other manga projects has dropped. I kinda fear she is aiming for a combined ending, since the manga is pretty much in its final phase. |
