This anime doesn't seem to be wasting any time in setting the premise and environment. By episode 3 the MC had the harem and his own world ready.

I mean, the skeleton dude was recruited in half episode last time. I kinda like seeing fast progress like this.

World building in Tensura is nice but you gotta admit it's annoying to wait 1 month/4 episodes just for a planning meeting lol

What's your opinion on the pacing of this anime? Feels right? Too fast for you?

I like the pacing seems fine
not extended and doesn’t seem like it cut out the important parts.

I agree that it’s good pacing for this kind of genre. With complex stories where you have to pay attention, it will most likely fail, but with simple plots like any isekai ever, you can just rush through progress and rising action stuff and it’ll still be fine. Anime fine tailored to people with low attention spans has potential to be great.

And how do YOU find the pacing of this anime? Do you enjoy it? Or too rushed for your personal taste?

I enjoy it, yeah. It could be just a tad bit slower (for example skeleton man came out of left field and into the corner of shame just as fast), but I’m still satisfied with it. I wonder what they’ll do for the last episode.

Tensura for me is 8 or 9 but this show is just a 4 or 5 cause it's so bad and boring when I was watching tensura it was enjoyable and world building was very good which kept me watching that but this was just boring as hell I didn't like the character development nor the world building, it's plot is nothing special and it's not able to keep its momentum and just goes up and down very much..
Maybe it's just the case with anime if it's rushed adaptation but I don't care about that cause I am not interested in reading source material..

Ya this pacing is way better than the pacing of the latest season of slime... Slime pacing sucked this time..

Imo, other than slime, this is by far the best Isekai this season. I’ve really been enjoying it, and the last episode was crazy

I could only think in Slime while watching this;
First he recruited the Dwarves and i was like: "hmmmm"
After that the others species appeared i started to think: "It can't be..."
And then when those two said names were important and the extras started to evolve it was pretty obvious.

The comment above said Tsukimichi came first and the LN really did but Slime was a WB before it was adapted so... If Tsukimichi has a WB to it's a matter of witch came out first.

Slime is way better tho

WB I guess you meant web novel (WN)?

A simple google search would have revealed to you that Tsukimichi also started as a web novel and it came out before Slime's web novel, so now you can reconsider about who to blame if you feel there was an author copying the other.

Yeah the original web novel started publishing in 2012 whereas the slime one started in 2013. Coincidentally, they both published in the same website (Shōsetsuka ni narō). This info is also on wikipedia.

But anyway, let's not start a fan war over this. Both are nice anime. Did you like Tsukimichi too? How did you find the pacing?
