I thought it was pretty good
My only thing with seeing some reviews is with people saying it’s the saddest anime or that it will break you
For me I didn’t feel broke at all at the end but more happy because Hinako was riding her own wave and Wasabi and Youko got together although idk if that’s even legal and then minatos death was pretty predictable as well
But it’s not the saddest anime I’ve seen

Yeah it came out on hbomax and it’s been on tik tok so I assume that’s why, and idk I didn’t enjoy the movie very much, I thought it was above average but not quite good so I rated it a six, Im not sure maybe it was my state of mind because I know that has a big effect on your enjoyment and when I watched it I was in a fairly dark place.
Do you think it’s worth giving it a rewatch?

I think it’s worth it! And if you end up not liking it still then at least you know your not missing out on anything.
