THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Looks like the cast has to deal with one problem after another... This is some classic fantasy RPG-style episode with the adventurers taking on a big dragon. However, it looks like the calamity problem is over and there's hope for humanity. They survived this but it wasn't easy. To be honest, I think it's fair to say that their world is highly unpredictable. |

That Lagee guy really did them dirty. Poor Islanders don't even know it was him all this time. Dragons appeared on the island because of him, the orcs as well. They like putting those little funny moments here and there. LOL The dragons went back to the volcano and they survived all of that. Yotsuya made another girl fall for him at the end. RIP to our fallen comrades. |

Huh? Huh? Huh? Sukanu was confused when Yuusuke grabbed him LMAO. He, himself was quite confused too. And damn Raji is powerful as hell. Even the heroes were no match for him. And that was almost a KISS. Well, everything is solved. I seriously love Aoyu's VA (Yuuki Aoi) it sounds way too perfect. The kiss would have made it even more perfect. One thing that I seriously love from this serie is the OST. The hug in the end, YES YES! Anyway, happy ending I guess. Rest in peace for the guy that stopped the ship.. mysterious sorcerer appears in the end, Fatina.. Nice design tho. Forgot the after credit scenes.. He fucked up the question LMAO. And a new teammate will appear. A blonde english girl. |

Yay they completed the quest! Took a lot more than just delivering a buffalo to a festival. Things can never be simple huh, the heroes had to go through some real pain to finish this one. Makes sense we'd reach the halfway point of the season and complete this arc. Divide the twelve episodes in half for two separate arcs. Lots of hardship on the island trying to stop the dragon from draining the people's life force. Who could've guessed that the whole entire cause of everything from the orcs to the dragon was an island resident themselves. I laughed then Yotsuya accidentally figured out that guy was the evil one, he honestly didn't even need to spill the beans just assumed Yotsuya found out. Those magic circles helping the dragon channel the life energy, destroying them helping everyone recover. Thanza went out like a champ stopping the ship from being burned, helped Yotsuya realize how important protecting your home is. We got to see the owl riding lady again too, shes gotta be important. Well the quest is complete so time to get a new team member. |

For the islanders to protect their one and only homeland of Jiffon Island, man what atrocities they must inevitably face. But this bald Raji guy who's just taking refuge nearby, both Torii and Yotsuya thought that the dragon is their only enemy. But he turns out to be a Dragon Bishop (summoner for easy knack of words), who initiated the orc attack and is going against the Valkedaams, far bearing Jiffon Island's history, housing the mastermind from the very beginning. HOT DAMN. A better time than not to bond the remaining Islanders together to clear out Raji's doing, and Katz's brain actually checks out, I'm impressed for him hiding his true abilities while being an ordinary mercenary. The dragons went back to the volcano, saving everyone out of their predictament, but losing Thanza is a significant loss for the islanders. Well, thank god for all that, and their original quest is fulfilled. It's quite the journey for such a simple quest. Is Aoiu gonna spot her place in Yotsuya's life, like how Khavel did? That's my only concern...but they're not gonna last long if they stick to Yotsuya too much, so it's just only for a fleeting moment. So Cantil is alive...and Raji got served by the great sorceress Fatina. It's back to Earth for Yotsuya and the heroes...and Torii's question may not look like much, but to Yotsuya, that's one step closer to unravelling his mystery. So there's one more person joining their crew...and it's an English woman? |

The ending was rather dissatisfying considering all of the chaos and action in during this mission but it wasn't bad. Another woman falls in love with Yotsuya lol. What was with that ending though? Is there more to this mission or is it just foreshadowing for the next mission? Something like "After the heroes disappeared, calamity struck" or something???? I'm just theorizing at this point but I'm looking forward to the next episode. On another note I won in the post-preview rock-paper-scissors game against the half face guy. |

The episode started out with a literal slideshow. I'm not usually one to complain about art quality in an anime but the lack of budget is really detracting from the impact of key scenes. Which is a shame given how much I enjoyed the first season. |

Huh??!!! 99x Me: wtf??!!! The dragon keep draining everyone lifes. But Yuusuke found that the dragon was not a real deal. But the monk, and all the circles he protect before. Also, pan ftw. Another also, too bad he wasn't able to finish the job and the monk succeeded to escape. Actually its Torii, so, oh well. At least the islanders were all saved, and Aoiu moment with Yuusuke, like previously with Kahvel, end before its bloom into a good settlement. Rip to those brave ex islander mercenary, tho. You were their real hero there. Everyone else reaction after Aoiu hug Yuusuke and stated that line? Torii laughed at it like usual, useless glasses otaku girl questioned such a useless thing, Kusue unexpectedly quite sarcastic there, and Iu surprisingly kinda too quiet back there. End of the quest, spent an exact half of the season. Back to the reality with full of question about the future quest. Great question, Torii. The loli gm back, and the next teammate is another strange person. Who and why? Shininggu! |

The fact that they were somewhat lucky enough to meet Kuval-san earlier in the season, and now they had to say goodbye to more people that they developed relationships with and probably won't see again is kind of sad. |

Finally Fatina returns back after S1 walking in the snow storm quest lol. I thought that bald dragon bishop will run away, but he dies right now. Aoiu well you shouldn't love him, it's hurt just like Kahavel there. When hero's party finish their quest then they take new quest again, it will be another long time skip too. New member girl? Well we need more useful hero there, Torii wasn't enough. |

The best english I've heard in anime and is one of the anime with lowest budget I watched lol, crazy. Not bad conclusion, the dragon and the bald man were pretty underwhelming tho lol but whatever, moving on. Looks like MC developed a bit his edgyness and the shy one of the group called him out, interesting. |

Pretty good episode! Was a pretty nice conclusion to the Jiffon Island arc, I am reallly gonna miss Aoyu though. Yotsuya really do be making the npc's wet lmao. Pretty hilarious how Yotsuya discovered Raji is the mastermind. Didn't expect him to just get clapped like that by Fatina though, I thought he was gonna be a recurring villain. RIP to Thanza though, what a chad. Now we meet the 6th member, ngl I thought she was a dude from the OP, but when I saw the new key visual I realized she was a girl. Definitely did not expect her to be American I assume though. Honestly wouldn't mind her just speaking English the whole time for the immersion lmao. Looking forward to the next episode. |

Good episode. Glenda is here and I really like her in the manga so here is hoping the anime does her right. The English was not too bad. The pronunciation was fine though the grammar was off, she should have said "the girl in white" instead. On that note the arc your thinking of is the current arc in the manga... with The country trying to defeat the dragon on top of the mountain and there's a big boss fight with a super powerful dragon bishop. But if we went in the order of the manga, the next arc after this would be where they have to go to an area where half of it is home to a rich powerful country that not many people can enter and has a powerful mafia and drug problem and the other half is home to an extremely poor country ruled by cartels and is home to where the drug is manufactured. So I'm happy she's entering the show. Also a way better personality and actually can help MC. yeah they have to bring the percentage of drug users down to a certain point within a certain amount of time. They team up with and battle the cartels, blonde hair chick turns out to be a lesbian and chomps the muff of one of the cartel leaders daughter. Crazy insect fight and cleaning up the mafia and reforming the countries. Our MC also gets close with another chick in this arc to.....yeah pretty awesome arc. |

This is one of the rare times in anime where the English spoken isn't actually Engrish. It would be cool if she keeps speaking English throughout the series, but realistically she's probably gonna switch to Japanese (and even then, I wonder if it's Japanese for the sake of the viewers and it's still considered "English" to the other characters in the story). Interestingly enough, there weren't any Japanese subtitles for the English dialogue spoken here. I wonder why. |

I'm sure I don't need to explain why this weeks episode was bad. You just need to look at the art and animation and it'll show ya the full picture. Yikes. The mastermind had a name. Did we even see this guy in any previous eps? If we did, I sure don't remember a bald guy. The mc and yellow dick throbber knew who he was so I was left scratching my head with this one. Pointless, unfunny reveal was cringe too. That dragon was pointless as well, whilst I'm at it. |

The next arc is super long so there is no way they can fit it in 6 episodes and in the intro there are a lot of characters shown that aren't in the manga so it looks like they are going to do a anime only arc that may be based on an incoming light novel for the series. after this, neext arc based on manga would be fight with dragon bishop? about dragon on top of mountain and a country waging war on it for few years if not decade or that would be another arc? since, i'd remember a guy as new hero. with glasses. if the western girl is the 6th hero, the arc im talking about would be later i think Yeah in the comment section for the manga someone said they were going to start an original story for the anime, I guess other people have heard that too. So let's see if it's going to be a good change or if it's going to be a Promise Neverland 2! Will it be hype or nah, just gotta wait... Cuz if it's not gonna follow along with the manga and the new anime story sucks I feel bad for non manga readers cause the manga just keeps getting better and better. (Basically and America and Mexico arc) Ok thanks for the info! It's always a risk to go with an original story but if they stick with manga or go with the LN story then we should be good. |

I think the main problem of this arc was that the Orc were not scary at all. We don't even see them eating someone. They were slow, not intelligent... (shot from new weapon landing at random was enough to kill them). Maybe the idea was to say "Orc are not that bad and human are even worst", but, you can't have tension this way. Which is really bad for a "survival story". Other villain's motivation did not make sense. Can we hope to have a good villain sometimes ? This anime is really lacking any tension because of the system mechanics of survival (it was fine with 3 heroes but they keep adding heroes so now you need 4 heroes dead before any tension). Also, the fact the whole party "succeed" or "fail", make it "impossible" for the party to fail. Would have been better if we could "lose" some hero along the way... It's not like Kusue and Yuka are "useful" most of the time. The combo Yana and Aoyu was nice. At this point, I'm starting to think Aoi Yuuki can voice (almost) anything... she's amazing. PS : Are we supposed to believe one random guy could stop a full boat ? |

For useful and useless thing, you should try to read the manga for next arc because anime will take LN story. Also, if whole party fail, they all will be dead that's why they must at least try to make one person survive and Yotsuya already scared when Yuka and Shindo can't revive at that time.I think the main problem of this arc was that the Orc were not scary at all. Not bad conclusion, the dragon and the bald man were pretty underwhelming tho lol but whatever, moving on. Looks like MC developed a bit his edgyness and the shy one of the group called him out, interesting. sKyBlazer08 said: Pretty good episode! Looking forward to the next episode. kuwangpa said: F I agree. I wonder why. mainly she speak in japanese. but, for ease of purpose, studio are using this premise to get by. would be easier for acctress and viewer i think. fortunately, from time to time, she ( voice actress ) still speak in english. it was nice. |
