I don’t ususally post on here, but I’d definitely suggest the sub. Normally I prefer dubs, but for this one I regretted watching the dub. It does mess with a few things, which I didn’t like, but it doesn’t ruin it completely. If you strongly prefer dubs, I’d say give it a try but I definitely prefer the sub.

I really enjoyed the English dub, it sounds good. I remember thinking the main guy had a bit weird of a voice, but it didn’t really bother me. To me, the haikus came out well and everything made sense. If you’re reading this and trying to choose, just pick what you like more- sub or dub. Both work well.

Ok... I don't know what's there to like about this movie... a girl hiding her bunny teeth or the awkward boy who always wears headphones... or the grandpa looking for the record... the girl finds it then breaks it.... But in the end they play it nd the boy confess his love in haikyu style.... Which doesn't make sense like other Japanese anime songs.... Yeah pretty great.... I bet those who find this anime good have recently started watching animes bcoz they haven't seen anything yet...or they really love to watch trash animes like this one.

I generally watch dubbed versions.... So I can't tell... But according to characters ,it's ok....

I watched dub but if I had to say, just watch sub, the haiku's was translated a little weird... that's why I gave it a 6/10 but movie overall was good

Take it from someone who for the most part watches the English Dub if I have the choice because I'm usually drawing while watching stuff: the dub was bad.

I understand it's hard to translate haikus from Japanese to English since you have to 1. Make sure the haiku gives off the same vibes and idea as the original, and 2. Make sure it actual fits in the 5 7 5 formula. About half the haikus failed that. The ending confession sounded really cringy and it just wasn't it. I wish I watched the movie in sub because maybe I would've rated it better than a 4.
