| a novel just got greenlit: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2021-07-12/im-standing-on-a-million-lives-manga-gets-novel/.175012 and going by what the novel is about, the characters in the village are probably the original characters shown in the OP, so the ending would be kind of anime original and kinda not i like this, Quest 6 is massive, i think its 4 or 6 volumes (dont remember exactly since ive read them in one sitting) it really needs a season of its own |

| Based on novel synopsis, seems like it'll be an alternative timeline for round 6 where they choose a different quest instead of the cartel. Hope someone will translate it. |
