Oh boy, the mystery of the assassin thickens.

Episode is kinda weird with a case of identity crisis. Also, the news of Kleou being kidnapped becomes a problem. Somewhat of a tense episode with the past connecting the present. Orphen's got his hands full this episode.

I just notice that Orphen's voice actor is the same as the previous adaptation, while all other characters are different. Why?

Ghost from the past is an apt description of what's going on for sure. Orphen is getting a heavy dose of the past coming back to bite him. A bit what if scenario of what if he'd stayed and actually become the successor of the Razor edge like Childman wanted. Someone sending back this assassin who looks just like Krylancelo. Lots of backstory with this episode since it deals so much with Orphen past and also with Leticia.

We got some good insight into her mindset how she's thinking about all this. Back when they first began in Childman class of her not thinking Orphen could take the razor edge. Crazy even back then Orphen was so powerful having to hold back that way he didn't kill them all while training. More inner politics at the Tower with Forte trying to gain control like Childman had, these elders being wiped out kinda benefits him in that way. But whomever is doing this clearly targeting Orphen after they took Cleo. Have to see how Orphen will confront his past once again.

Don't worry she will, beside, there were spoilers about her.

Orphen said that the evil Krylancelo will not kill her, but still I felt sorry for her, to be kidnapped in the middle of the meal :( And how all her food fell to the ground, I swear my heart is hurt. but everything will be ok... I think.

9 weeks in and i'm still not sure what the overall plot is other than him looking for his sister who's become a dragon. I'm beginning to gather that everything is episodic, but man, shit's not good. I'll finish it because I don't drop anything, but it's been rough. I enjoyed the original one back in the 90s/early 2000s but this isn't hitting like that

I hope cleo is ok, she deserves headpats

Orphen now must fight the Krylancelo of his past, the Tower of Fangs' ideal candidate for the Successor of the Razor's Edge. What truly is going on at this point...and for the deceased Azalie to "find her time" back just to counter his current life (after the events of the 1st half of this show).

The overarching plot of their past student life in the Childman Class doesn't do any favors to further the story, instead just bog it down. Just wished they'd have a focus and not be so wishy-washy like this. But Orphen's own shortcomings are one to blame if looking back on his decisions that bring serious consequences.

For Majic to NOT see how bad this situation became, he essentially just becomes added weight onto Orphen's problems. Even worse is Cleo's kidnapping, so he deduces an all-out effort to resolve this once and for all.

Disturbing someone while he/she is eating should be hardly punished, especially when the food goes to waste since it fell on the floor.

It was sad, I felt sorry for Cleo, but I was more worried that she might suffocate

This is my very least favorite seasonal anime and I absolutely struggle to finish it every week. But in for a penny in for a pound, I guess.

Everyone aside from Orphen is so useless or nags to much. I'm having a hard time liking anyone besides Orphen so far. Thou I do like Leki a bit. Anyway I wonder who that other Krylancelo is.

Rip Cleo being kidnapped in the middle of the meal, what a bad time. Next episode will be the revelation of the assasin's motive, I hope it is not a disappointment.

"don't look !... but he looked"
that resume my whole feeling about this anime so far.
While i don't hate it, it's clearly below average.
Back to this episode topic, i wonder how they will explain the apparition of Orphen past as an individual (white magic ? )
And why is Orphen considered weaker than before ? Lack of practice ? the will not to kill ?

Way to ruin a nice meal. I'm really curious to who the assassin Krylancelo is, I don't think its Azalie
