| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode was a personal one for Shin. There were a million thoughts going in his mind on the battlefield. As determined as he is, it will take more than that to win the war. I do like his overall attitude though. Always carrying his burden and into building a stronger future. He's like a symbol of inspiration for his people. |

| That's a lot of talk-no-jutsu in the middle of the battlefield. Though I was watching Naruto again at one point. The animation isn't exactly intolerable but it's still very messy and lacks good directing that would've made the pathos more impactful. The episode itself was personal for Shin, and regarding how war never ends. Pretty understandable but for me it feels like an inserted sobstory at the last moment, like I wasn't given any reason to care about that one guy at all before Shin cut him down. |

| Shin talking about EiSei gave me chills. Thou Shin taking down Man Goku wasn't that impactful here. |

| I understand what happened was a tragedy but they dragged out this grudge stuff for way too long. They did the same thing in the manga as well. |

| Much better episode then last week's for me as well. They adapted the "Do It" Hakuki moment very nicely. He was a savage no denying it, even his officials were telling him to reconsider burying that many people and he still did it. Mangoku had his reasons and right to hold the grudge but yeah in retaliation going on killing Qin kids and women won't change anything. Shin had to put him down, if he reached Kanyou it would have been madness. |

| Quite interesting as I know this battle will have impacts on Shin as it will be one of the catalyst of his character development And as usual, Kingdom fanbase is so small. Just look at the number of replies compare to another ongoing meh show |
| I guess this is an episode where atmospherically the anime does make a difference, the low visibility of the dust clouds and even the day/night cycle are things you don't really notice too much from the manga, hope they lean in on these things more. |

| That was more of a emotional batter more than it was physical. Lolz twas kinda awkard seeing xin just be frozen in thoughts tho, what a odd thing to do in battle but at the same time everything seems dat way. |

| nm, i felt this episode dragged this "battle" too much, and felt at some point this is seinen version of naruto vs sasuke lol. never the less, it was important for shin development impact. |
| Whole episode spent of the backstory of Goku and his grudge against Chin. Too much dialogue between the fights made it a little bit boring but it's not as bad as One Piece. Shin's words got through him in the end with the incredible slash. Seems like he can use his brain afterall. Also, how many times is Ten going to say Shin? It's getting on my nerves. First day of the war is over and I must say, it was quite bloody and spectaculair at the same time. Every state had it own uniquess to add to the battle. |
