My thoughts on Joe’s beard and what it symbolizes

I think Joe’s beard was a symbol of Joe going off the rails and not caring about himself because in his opinion he killed Nanbu. But after his experiences and interactions with Chief and the rest of those people, his perspective on everything changed. He started to care about life again, so, thus, he shaved his beard. am i reaching here or what do you guys think lol

Nailed it! Absolutely agree..although should admit there was an earlier discussion about his beard where we actually hyped it :D I know, I know.. but I loved that style and I think as for an outlook it was super cool! So all in all I miss it ^^

it was good to see him with beard. i thought he would keep it the whole series.
