Killing other based on color, discriminating other based on money... helluva world we are living in.

A question just popped in my mind -

How many anime did make you wonder this questions? How many of them?

Most of the anime deal with fancy delusions, great to see Megalo Box is dealing with real life events.

10/10

Fall 2022 is the most Unforgettable anime season of all time

The opening song is very good. There seems to be a huge gap between season 1 and season 2. It's like they completely changed the concept. Soundtracks in season 1 consisted of rap and rock tracks, while in season 2 they shifted to acoustic and Spanish tracks and did it very well. While we watch an ambitious person in season 1, we are almost watching someone who has sunk in season 2. The main character has changed a lot and it's nice that the soundtracks have adapted to that. It fits perfectly into Joe's melancholic aura. It feels like a normal drama rather than an anime, and it's beautiful. I wish most anime would break these "anime taboos". I seriously think some anime are / will keep losing points because of this.

This is really turning into one of the best second seasons I can remember. It's continuing to deliver, I'm loving it so far.

The music during the fight gives me hope that there are many more bangers to come this season. Looking forward!

Every episode of this season is on another level compared to the season 1. Very good episode like the first two. Chief is going to take the photos of his family? Can chief win the tournament? Can the hate for immigrants be erased? Can Joe face his past? Hype hype and more hype

The one thing I most curious with is what happened to Joe and his coach before season 2, I guess time will tell but I can't wait :)

Chief definitely has a quality of top boxer rankers

All I ever wanted was Joe’s beard to survive throughout the season... and then he shaved it this third episode T_T

I just know this season will get extremely good after a few more episodes. Right now, it's an amazing start, and I have high hope for whatever it's coming. Can't wait for Joe's inminent return to the ring:)

This episode was incredible, but the scene that stands out is where the water system is fixed and the faucet in the trailer starts to drip. Joe just resolved to live after making peace with his own past failures. That analogy of renewed life and the dripping faucet is beautiful

Not gonna lie, the scene of Nanbu dying got me emotional. And even Joe is blaming himself for that. I felt so bad for him. Also, Joe stopped taking drugs but feeling the after-effect of it.
On the other hand, Chief keeps winning the matches and now is in the finals. But, what the hell is wrong with those assholes, man. Let them stay there in peace. I hope Chief will be alright. Such a great episode.

It's pretty much guaranteed Chief will die, it might not happen in the next episode but it will definitely happen, and it will probably motivate Joe to return to the Megalo Boxing to help the immigrants. I just hope we see more characters from the first season in the future episodes.

I don't know what exactly happened to Nanbu, but it seems like Joe pushed him a bit too far when he was already sick. And since then he's blaming himself the former's death all this time.

Also, wasn't Megalo Box tournament supposed to be a very big event, with the way it was introduced in the prequel? Now it looks like some old forgotten thing having lost its all lackluster with no hype or coverage of the competitors going around.

This is obviously not the main Megalo Box tournament but more of a local version of it with small time fighters, where winners probably would rise in the ranks and have a chance to fight in the main tournament . It's pretty much given Joe will be forced to fight in the real Megalo Box to help the immigrants in the future episodes.

Very good chapter
Joe is slowly recovering, and Chief fought very well. Now, let's see what will happen with the place.

extreme emotion like guilt can make you hallucinate but Joe recovered now it seems

if Chief cannot fight anymore then that means its time for Gearless Joe to fight again

The soundtrack with the flashbacks makes me so emotional. Joe went through so much the last few years. Nanbu's death, Sachio left him, everything went in the wrong direction. But he's stepping up again. He'll live again.
But yeah, whenever you're having fun something has to ruin it. The kids threw a Molotov and burned everything. Will Chief come out unscratched? Probably not.

The scene where Chief and the rest of the group finally fixed the waper pipes and Joes asked Nanbu to fight one last time with him and the water dropped fall along with the light falling on his hand must be one of the prettiest scenes I've seen in anime..this was simply stunning :')

Good to see Joe coming to terms with what happened to Nanbu and also a nice clean shave to boot off. I really hope nothing happens to Chief as he went through a lot with the loss of his family and is close to getting a permanent home for himself and his fellow immigrants

Damn this episode was amazing!!!

Look like Joe is over his guilt.

Those poor people. Mio should just dump those 'friends'.

Chief is doing pretty great for now.

I preferred Joe with a beard but hey beardless Joe is cool too y'know? Get it? Ok I'll just go now.

Joe is finally getting back on track. And I like Chief a lot, it sucks that a lot of people give him smack in the show

Rewatch Edit: Mainly the landowner hates him smh what was I saying. A very powerful episode, to see Joe recover and to see Chief in the ring with his charisma

I like the Joe-Rocky Chief-Creed setting, it's interesting because Chief isn't young, he has probably more years than Joe.
Great backstory, now I realize what happened to poor Nanbu. Joe lost a match, he never returned until it was too late. Sachio blamed him.
I think Joe is getting back to his old self, I enjoyed the shaving scene, now he's really back!
I like this role for Joe, I'm pretty sure we'll see him on the ring until the end of the season but for now I want to see Chief winning the tournament.
They should deal with Mara's son, he has dangerous friends.
