Not really. It's not a terrible anime, imo, but I recall it getting somewhat serious when the video games are mainly known for their tongue-in-cheek ways. I may take a look at it again some time this year.

The Neptunia series in general has died down tremendously. From about 2012 to 2017, Neptunia communities were absolutely bursting with memes and references. But alas, everything must eventually come to an end.

You can still find people to talk about it with if you try out the Neptunia Discord or Reddit, but poor handling of the games and having to bend to Sony's will has left the Neptunia community a shallow husk of the greatness it once was.
