Do you think Kazuya was bit of a jerk and was blackmailing Minami before the sad incident? I mean I sure did saw him worked really hard to get where he was unlike his lazy ass big brother but the last few chapters before the incident he seemed to force his feeling on Minami without given any consideration of her. She absolutely has no obligations to return his feelings just because he is completing her dreams which by the way was made when all three of them were kids with no marriage or being relationship in the talks. Tatsuya's lazy ass personality made it worse. I don't know why he was so determined to screw his own life just because he was more naturally talented and would overshadow him if he didn't act like a loser.

Highly subjective tbh. He definitely is insensitive to Minami's feelings and does try to force himself on her [in one of the chapters when he is alone with Minami, he realizes how uncomfortable she feels when she is alone with him] but maybe calling him a jerk is a little too much I think.

He does behave 'like' a jerk sometimes but I feel he isn't a jerk by nature. But, I do believe he had always been vary of Tatsuya. That is, if at all he ever becomes serious with Minami or baseball [or in anything else for that matter] he surely shall be overshadowed.
