It's less a suprise when you did the game, it was the adaptation of the last chapter.

Anyway, next week it's the return of the professor, I'm sad they didn't do an episode about Sherl's origins.

There are enough changes between the game and this episode (and 47) to make it enjoyable and a separate experience. But dude, Richmond is such a jerk. Like the explanation they give doesn't make him a better person. 'Oh, I won't leave any money at all, you can live in my haunted castle despite your poor health. Money? Nah, you don't need it.' What an example of poor (grand) parenting

I never saw this coming. So Noah has been living a lie while seeking revenge this whole time? Woah... I feel terrible for him, he was lied to and had to live believing that his grandfather and mother were wronged all this time... But leaving his sickly daughter and grandchild without a single house to live in "just" to develop their city? Crazy stuff! They couldn't even enjoy London's wonders because, well, they were poor and she even died soon after. Everything could have gone wrong in Noah's life too.

At least his efforts weren't for naught, he met Katrielle and found a place to belong. His name was a lie, but I'm sure that everything else was genuine. I guess my favorite part was when she simply accepted it all in the end when he thought that he couldn't stay with her anymore. I hate it, but I love it!

Talk about a surprising reveal and a sad backstory, one which made me feel bad for Noah. That said, he still has Layton who recognizes him as the good person he is.

Really great case.

The episode would have been better with another explanation... at least for me it was really difficult to see any of the seven dragons or Noah's grandfather as the "good" ones, to be honest. First of all, are you telling me you left your ill daughter and grandson without heritage just for them to die? And on the other hand... if the other "thieves" knew they were having such a hard time couldn't have helped a little bit?? Just a little?? It makes no sense.

I'm annoyed because this could have been one of my fav episodes, but in the end it got wasted.

I would never have suspected Noah. He has been living a lie while seeking revenge. In the end, I feel so bad for him. :/
