Trip to visit Himekawa was great.

The skate badge test was hilarious, always love how Sasugai and Maeshima are.

Probably my favorite of the season by miles.

I wonder how this anime will do nationals and what not, since all these teams, team-building, and training. Hope it gets an s2 where it will al be on competitions and what not.

Coach has a boyfriend!!! Even if it's a self-proclaimed one.

An even though it's just half a minute, but an onsen episode is an onsen episode

I love the interaction between Maeshima and Sasugai. And I really like Sasugai personality.

My prediction on why Izumi left was right! He felt outshined to Maeshima and didn't want to compete with him. I guess we won't see him for awhile.

I like seeing Maeshima and Sasugai together, they are one of the few characters that are not too high siddity for me. Also, I like the pink haired boy being around too.

well I was about ready to drop this anime, but this ep was mildly better than the previous episodes. I think the main thing keeping me watching it is because of Maeshima and Sasugai's relationship. All the other characters don't give me much reason to care about them because they are just these one dimensional characters. I'd be surprised if any of them get any character development.

This anime reminds me a lot of no.24, that rugby anime that came out last year? Where only a handful of the cast got fleshed out with character development and etc. and the rest of the cast were just anime tropes who just existed to deliver lines of commentary here and there

I don't blame Himekawa for transferring teams. Since I don't expect this anime to get a 2nd season, I hope they at least fit in the Nationals competition. I've already lost track of how many competing teams there are now.

and with that lil end credits clip, I guess the older coach is bisexual? Probably just a one-off joke though that won't amount to anything else...

Not very good episode. I was bored both with first half about Izumi and second half about some test (why did he really needed to take it?).

So Himekawa's out of the team that saddens me I like his character a lot
I've watched the OP several times to see if there's a hint about him but his new team didn't appear and he's only with Ionodai team so I'm dying to know what will happen to him

Ahhh another fantastic ep this week!!! I love all the character interplay so much!!!! Was crying with laughter by the end! May not be the most technically impressive show of the season but it is the one that has most grabbed my heart.

Rest assured, the Japanese broadcast version of the OP is different to the overseas streaming one and it does indeed hint at Himekawa with the Niigata team!!

Himekawa transferred...and Maeshima is in full pursuit, bringing along Sasugai, Mochizuki and Terauchi.

Learn to control your anger, Maeshima...being like this won't lead you anywhere. And a skate-leading coach that only teaches juniors, seems like Himekawa is aiming for a different goal: beating Maeshima instead by going back to basics and re-examine his skillset.

Another rival to contend with in the Shinozaki race: Noa Kuonji, and a badge test to test the compatibility of both individual and team efforts. Being a rival of Shinozaki's means that you have to be flexible on your skills and upgrade ASAP, but given Maeshima, it's not hard for him to fail badly.

The race to become the greatest skate-leading team just gets more bigger...

4th episode in and Maeshima is still impulsive and insufferable. Arguing with the school guard? At least Kumada put him in his place, this kid has absolutely no common sense. Even after so long, he still hasn't learned anything about working in a team or thinking before acting.

The voice actor for Sasugai is too forced and over the top, too. And soo much infodumping; again, show, don't tell. I'm so glad there are even MORE characters to forget about now.

Himekawa's reason for leaving the team was so weak, man. These kids make big decisions at a moment's notice. Running out of practice, quitting the team, holding a grudge for years — all because someone was a bit mean to them or didn't praise them enough. I get that they're teens but come on, this immaturity is too much. Feels like forced drama because they didn't have an actual script and just improvised as they went.

At this point I think I'll give it one more episode to see if it goes anywhere.

Well... this show is starting to become boring and monotonous. So far, Sasugai seems to be the only character with enough charisma to keep things afloat.

The previous ace leader transferred to another school, how convenient for MC to have the spot open. But of course, they got to show how worried and frustrated he is so we won't catch on to this easy route.

I don't know, the show is kinda stupid but it can be watched as a guilty pleasure, there are fun moments here too. Not all of them are meant to be this way though.

It's getting interesting.

Noa and Maeshima's pair skating was the best XD

Maeshima's know-it-all personality is really pissing me off. If he listened to others he wouldn't mess up so much.

The extra at the end gave us a nice info, now we know their coach is potentially Bi (◐∇◐*)

I really don't want to drop any more shows, but this show is making me consider it... I'll give it one more episode before I decide. Maeshima is annoying and, quite frankly, insufferable. That's what makes this show really hard to watch.

Well, apparently Himekawa already decided his future to be apart from Ionodai skate-leading club. A bit of exaggerating reason. However, Maeshima, as the real culprit, realized what Himekawa felt back at their previous match. Such a shame, Terauchi looked fine with it too, because they couldn't even forced Himekawa to cancel his transfer process. Then, i should've known that its might be their plot to make Maeshima as the one and only potential permanent leading role in the club. Oh well! If that's it, so let it be!

Meanwhile, when Maeshima did a badge test, he found 'the number two prince' motive out as his transfer to the skate-leading just a mere advertisement for the sake of a better skating world. That's quite, respectable, moreover with his decision to recruited an idol team. Well, by seeing the announcement of Noa's idol team, all teams in the opening already showed up themself. So, lets see what else that left to be explore. Ah, right, another practices!
