| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- For a first-timer, Langa does the impossible with style while facing off with Shadow, all by sheer luck. All things otherwise, Reki still needs to teach him or else. Y'know, it's such an impact that a rookie like Langa managed to shake up the world of "S", but place him outside and he doesn't look the spot, how ironic. Just can't get enough of Langa's gags for failing to do what he did before. Almost got Isekai-ed killed by Truck-kun though... OOH, Cherry Blossom and Joe finally show their skating styles, but their personal rivalry is still the comedic factor. Trying to skate a skateboard, snowboarding style is quite different, example: mastering a skateboard ollie for a start...ALMOST. Reki's house visit was startling for Langa though, to help the latter create a fully-customized skateboard of his own to master, that's pretty nice, but you have to go through lots of blood and pain to achieve proficiency, and that's easier said than done. You're getting the hang of it, Langa. Keep improving in your craft! And a "beef" challenge so soon for the rookie again national player Miya Chinen, that's saying something. If you ask me, this is pure Tony Hawk: Pro Skater moments of freedom. Still interested though. |

| This is great, loving it. Ton of energy, passion and most importantly heart. Got super invested in both Langa and Reki as characters, great guys. The montages were all great, Langa struggling to get used skateboarding but he still managed to do an Ollie in two weeks. Looking forward to more. |

| Subtitles are currently not in sync as others have said. If I recall previous problems on their site for new episodes, this may likely not be fixed for a few hours. This also affects any websites that pirate Funimation's episodes & subs. |
| Another good episode. Like I thought in the previous episdoe, this anime is just really fun to watch. It is all so over-the-top (like a voice-activated computer skateboard) and well animated that you can’t help feeling charmed by it. The characters have good chemistry with each other too, which helps make it even more enjoyable. |
| watched this through other means where the subs were synced properly. Another great episode! So Langa's performance last ep was a fluke, and he can't replicate those skating skills again. Glad they kept it realistic like that instead of making him OP and knowing how to skate like a pro just because he used to snowboard. The bromance btw Langa and Reki is already going strong. Gotta quell my inner fujoshi heart though. Joe an Cherry Blossom come off as ex-lovers the way they were quarreling with each other like that. They both think they are hot shit, but their rivalry is kinda juvenile. It was also amusing to see that Shadow isn't as tough as he seems since his other profession is being a florist. Since Langa will be racing against the kid next ep, I wonder if the antagonist will make his appearance at the end of the next ep. The anime seems to be leaning more towards the comedy-style, even bringing up Langa's dead father didn't damper the mood too much. Which is fine. I was thoroughly entertained the whole time. |
| It's great that they didn't make Langa this out of the ordinary skater that just can do things perfectly on his first time, but he struggled (even though it was for only 2 weeks). This friendship is so cute, Reki is so supportive of Langa. I really want to see the famous Miya skating! |
| Impressive incompotence from Funi to get subtitles so completely out of sync. Still, despite it being pretty awkward to keep track of what was actually going on, this was an entertaining training episode to get Langa some proper skateboarding skills going forward. |
| IKR! Langa is so awesome... and hilarious. He looks cool in the beginning and then he will fall. Haha. Welp, he's a beginner skateboarder afterall. I think falling or failing is just part of learning. Langa did his first ollie, not perfect tho but he's getting there. At least, after his father's death, he found something that he really enjoys doing. Langa will surely get there slowly, of course with the help of Reki. Langa and Reki's friendship/bromance is just amazing. Cherry's AI board, Carla, is cool btw. Looks like Langa is gonna race again. I'm excited! Didn't expect that this would entertain me this much!  |

| This show has a lot of hype behind it and it lives up, both the first and the second episode were amazing, though the antagonists are a bit cartoonish. |

| I absolutely loved this episode! For some reason the subtitles were way ahead of what was happening (which I'm not blaming the anime for I just thought it was worth noting for my feelings lol) but I still had a good grasp of what was happening. Langa got his first ollie! Yay! Seeing his friendship blossom with Reki is too cute. I can't wait til Langa really improves and we can see them skate together more. :) |

| Another great episode :) I can already tell that I'm gonna like Joe and Miya the most. Why are supporting characters always so much more fun than the main characters? :D I also love the mid-episode-segments. Shadow's magical girl transformation was really funny :D |

| I‘m too lazy to review this episode rn but i loved it! The animation is so beautiful too! Also the design of the board Reki made is so cute, even tho Langa having something else in mind. I thought Reki‘s idea was way cooler! |

| I definitely did not know this anime would be so much fun! I was expecting a boring ass anime just a lot of skating and only that, kinda like the impression I had of God of Highschool but with skating instead of fights. The characters are really fun, the dynamic of the story is great and this has even made me wanna skate again |

| I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. It's amazing how this show can make me care for all the characters in just 2 episodes. The snippets of their real lives were cool. After all the superhuman skating, all of them have to get back to their day jobs. Shadow being a florist was unexpected but not unwelcomed who knew he would be a softie on the inside? Loving Joe's and Cherry Blossom's dynamics already. So petty XD do they have a past together? or is it just rivalry? Also, can I just say how much I appreciate seeing our skater duo interacting with their families? It was so wholesome. The training montage was cool and funny. Reki and Langa are so cute together. The skateboard design is adorable even though Langa had something more fierce in mind. Cat boy has just shown up and I've already adopted him. Let's see how the race goes. Ending song is soothing. It adds a layer of dimension to all the characters. The opening still slaps. |

I had the issue of portuguese, spanish, and english subtitles showing at the same time with no way to change it to just english. Their site sucks most times sadly. | This episode was really wholesome. I loved the training montage and the fact that they didnt make Langa OP. The whole show is pretty hype and I love the relationship between the two characters. It's really nice seeing how Langa found something similar to fall in love with after his father's death. Also that sailor moon montage intermission lmao. I had to watch it twice cuz it was hilarious. I feel like this show is the one I'm enjoying the most this season. Great animation, great color palette, the OST is hype, the relationships are wholesome and the comedy is spot on. Yes, some things can be considered ridiculous like "Carla" but I feel like it adds to the overall over the top comedy factor. |
