Why are the readers so quick to judge Madoka and immediately think she's easily the worse character? You continue to bash her for her actions when you can't even understand or consider her emotions and wonder why she makes those choices? I agree that she makes the worse decisions and keeps on blaming the other wives when it was all Ryuu's fault, I also don't like how she was still in love with Ryuu when it's pretty obvious how much of a horrible person he became. But I can't blame her though, people should be aware that she's had a very tragic past and became mentally weak. Everyone keeps saying yuzu or Koharu deserves the best but what about Madoka? She's been through a lot and had the roughest childhood, her mom wasn't a good person, she had to do prostitution at the age of 13 which I'm sure she didn't enjoy and if it wasn't for ryuunosuke then I think she'd continue to do prostitution at such a young age. Ryuu's 'kind-hearted' attitude is what made her love him because he was the only person who seemed to care for her when no one else did and even rescued her from her trauma which explains a lot about why she's afraid to lose him. You think it's easy to not be jealous or selfish because you haven't even gone through the same shit? She had to watch the only person so dear to her be with other women, and even broke the rules in the hare kon which was so unfair. It's so long that she had to endure all the pain and loneliness and spent her 8 years with someone who turned out to be selfish and horrendous. She fell into utter despair while she had NO ONE. It's not that easy. Don't expect someone to just leave easily after all that crap they went through. Thus, she deserves happiness. But I didn't like how she later comes back, I mean she finally had the potential to start a new life after leaving him but I guess she still felt lonely. Her attitude is very reasonable and she's the most realistic character ever because jealousy is a common human trait a lot of people suffer in real life. Why couldn't you figure that out instead of being way too hostile and inconsiderate about her? It's really not that hard to understand. (lost it at the mal reviews for having the bad impression on Madoka and calling her the worse character)
Also, she knew him the longest so ofc she'll get jealous. Super ironic how everyone is calling her the worse when ryuunosuke is the cause of all this drama. Fictional or not, there are a lot of people suffering just as much as her. I dislike Ryuunosuke for his toxicity and his horrible doings. I understand that he felt lonely because of his trauma, but it was so wrong for him to be doing all that and making others suffer. He's absolutely very confusing, Madoka is the only person he knew the longest and knew all about her past trauma so what made him treat her so poorly instead of saying a proper goodbye to her before he hurts her more? All I can say is, Madoka deserves the best, including the other wives. No wait I think they deserve each other more since their friendship is the best thing about the manga.(yes I'm aware that they get a happy ending, but they still have to end up with ryuu.)
