| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- aaaaaaaaaand it is done!!! Was worried for a sec there that the fireworks were going to be the ultimate cucklord of the century. Luckily once again...Nanako comes to the rescue with her boldness! And yet again, the author's amazing art shines through So the only times Nanako speaks out loud, are when she's either confessing her feelings to Eiji, or is asking for another kiss :P Overall, I really did enjoy this series for the most part. Comedy I thought was absolute gold, and the characters were pretty likeable for the most part (apart from that one bitch girl in that Christmas arc). It's kinda a shame how the romance progressed at a snails pace, and apart from this last carnival arc there wasn't really anything to justify the wait tbh. That, and the whole transformation into a harem aspect kinda dulled things down a little bit. Kinda wished there were more male characters introduced as well, would've made things more interesting rather than having x girls just getting introduced to only fall in love with Eiji and that's it (like that kouhai girl) Also kinda upset there wasn't that much closure on some of the characters. Was kinda hoping for a more solid conclusion on the Prez x judo guy's relationship especially with all that teasing going on. Oh well, at least she managed to graduate though lol. Though in fairness, I do recall the author mentioning that the series was effectively over after the confession and the rest was mainly just Eiji x Nanako moments, but still kinda bummed out nonetheless But other than that, was a nice ending to tie everything to a halt. Honestly if it wasn't for the comedy that was absolutely hilarious at times, I would've given this at best an 8/10, mainly because like I said, that harem portion really started bringing the series down a bit. Just because of how funny it was though, easily a 9/10. Now it's time to wait for the next season, to see how the anime is gonna butcher the adaptation even further :P One thing for sure though, the art is absolutely fukin fantastic, definitely looking forward to whatever else the author has in store  |

| This chapter was everything and more of what I expect from a classic Senryuu chapter, actually scratch that, it was above and beyond the already high expectations this manga brings. It had amazing romantic advances, good comedy, sentimental moments, and a good wrap-up drawing at the end (the artist loves showing off his skills). Nanako’s kiss was so amazing, the fact that they were cut off by the fireworks and it seemed like the mood was ruined, the page was cut in half and showed only Nanako’s head. Then transitioning back to “normal life," they decided to make a few last memories with each other and fill up the photo album to have something to look back upon the high school life they led. ;’’’( This manga was a fun ride from start to finish, showing off many instances of romance in the beginning when the comedy was the main focus, but as we started getting deeper and more invested, that’s when the manga really hits its stride. Although it could’ve answered some of our loose-ended questions, like about the club, the members, their relationships, its overall a good ending. 10/10, would read again. |

| The date and the series ended on a sweet note. I like how the cover pages lead up to the final picture. Wholesome how everyone came together, but lmao, Prez had to slip one last time. Good conclusion overall, it was nothing extraordinary, but apt for a such a cute and lighthearted 4-koma rom-com. What the series tried to achieve was delivered and a bit more. Had a lot of fun with these quirky character and they were a pleasure for the eyes as well. 8/10 Tho if the ending had been less rushed and with more closer then it could've been easily a 9/10 Then again, most of the appeal came from the romance bait, funny/cute interactions and comedy in general. So let's say 8,5/10 |

| Finally finished reading this 3/10 Sh*t... On premise, I expected a romance of character growth from the protagonists, with Eiji leading Hanako to gain confidence, but most of the characters stayed stuck to their gag on the surface with barely any development to their character. The comedy wasn't particularly funny either. Hanako's joy and moments of love were decently cute, but overall this whole manga was boring. The progress of the story was far too episodic and random with mindless comedy and lacking depth to the bonds in the story. Aside from very few rare legitamtely funny moments, like Hanako's doting father's depression over any conclusion that Hanako is leaving him ... Eiji is a awful character as the factor of the story's development. An immature childish scary-faced kind idiotic candid guy like him is dumb. His love rivals were awful as well from how meaningless they were for not adding anything to the story. Koto never changed from the playfully flirty sexy big sister-figure who confessed to Eiji without him realizing near the end when she never tried anything before. Same as Komachi who was presented as the library girl who was always interested in him and acted as a delinquent to get closer but never truly did anything until the end... worse was the random sudden kouhai who later realized her own feelings. ... They did not serve any purpose. I guess the point was to show how many girls can get rejected without ever doing "anything". Poorly built though. The President was weird... her lack of a boyfriend was kinda funny, but lazy done when she later got a boyfriend. For the most part she was very unfunny like most of them. Surpisingly, my favorite characters were Tao and Kino. Unfortunately, Tao's story was unfounded, and her affection for Kino wasn't properly built either. It felt random for how poorly it was done. Overall, a lot of the character's changes were sudden. Kino and Hanako staying as an expresionless and unvocal individual was unexpected and odd. I thought and was hoping to see them both grow to be normal and both talk more in the end... Terrible manga. |
