What did you think about season two when Goku was about to die

It was good for the series and at the same time they made a little mistake I think. It was good because it let us see how the other fighters had grown and gave them a chance to be shown. The mistake they made was the medicine Trunks said would work, now here is what I didn't understand. A senzu bean should have healed Goku, they show him take one but he didn't have enough time to let it cure him. If he had taken it and had the chance to let it work he probably wouldn't have needed the medicine anyway. It would have been good if Trunks had stated earlier that senzu beans won't work. So we the fans would know right away that he would have to take the medicine and know that the senzu beans wouldn't help him for this even though they could. Oh well I guess we will never know.

It was actually season four when goku got the virus. season two was during the namekian saga and it ends before goku was able to fight freza and before he bacame a supersaiyan.

Oops, I wasn't paying attention to the question. Well that part had so much suspence I think, almost too much. Everyone knew Goku was going to get a big power up in season 2 and it was taking forever for it to happen. When he was about to die I was mad because well that would mean we all would have been tricked lol.
