This Dub is Dissapointing

So you may or may not have seen my previous post commending the dub of Those Who Hunt Elves season 1.
This post serves as a continuation so I recommend that you read my previous post before this one: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1883522

So the most noticeable change by far is that the the ADR Script writer was changed for season 2 (from Steven Foster to David Carren). I'm not sure if this is common practice in the dubbing industry, but the difference is palpable. Season 1's dub had so much random unapologetic dialogue that made it so enjoyable to watch. Season 2's dub however is extremely tame and I often found myself wanting to open a new tab instead of watching. The story and premises in S2 are as good as S1, but lacks the random excitement that made S1 so enjoyable.

I fully respect the original creator for making this all possible, but the S1 dub has cemented itself as a timeless work (for me at least). As the S2 dub didn't live up to the expectations of S1, I unfortunately can only justify rating this show a 6 while S1 I have as an 8.

That's all I really have to say about this show/dub, I was hoping for another 12 episodes of spectacular humor and was dissapointed.
