| Yes this episode was really something, but I think I preferred the second one. Three amazing different short stories set during the second world war. I liked the different settings and times the stories were told. Maybe the first episode didn't deserve this score... but the other 2 were just so good. 8/10 |

| Another sad ending. What happened to the other guy he was with at the start? He just vanished like smoke when Utsunomiya woke up. Utsunomiya didn't inquire about him and Kodai didn't say anything. o_O I preferred the first one for it's art and animation, this episode for it's story, the second one was so-so to me. |

| This one was terrible. Also it doesn't have anything to do with cockpits or aircraft. Not sure why it's even included as part of this OVA. Episode 1 - 7/10 Episode 2 - 8/10 Episode 3 - 4/10 Overall - 6/10 |

| More of a personal down to life episode I must say! Really wonderful episode and conclusion to this OVA series, I personally really loved the second episode, but this one really was great too! Quite loved it and Leiji's art style was just a perfect touch to it! |

| I think this was good but it didn't comprehend with the title. I think Kodai's sacrifice was futile because he ended dying without doing anything and also Utsunomiya died too because he was bleeding too. So it was a hopeless sacrifice with no gain. Any way this ova overall portrayed how soldiers had resolve of steel in the cockpit (with the exception of this one) and in the battlefield. So its an 8/10 from me. |

| Soldiers really are dumb, aren't they? Willing to throw their lives away for their country. Fools. This was somewhat entertaining, but quite depressing. |
