| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, what a bad timing for Yoshika's gear to malfunction. We got the military fighting and throwing all their firepower into the battle. We're only in the second episode but they're making the enemies look pretty damn tough. Glad to see Yoshika's comrades come joining her in the fight. Pretty intense episode if you ask me. |

| So Miyafuji saved the day by buying time again for the rest of the unit to arrive. And finally we get a series with Shisuka in it she was nice in the movie so i wonder how she will function in the unti. Looking forward to seeing that, and it was nice how she saved Miyafuji in the nick of time. Anyway it was a nice episode. |

| Oh yeah all the girls are reunited and looks like now the title makes sense, they're going to fight a big Neuroi nest in Berlin, I guess it's going to be really exciting to see the girls fighting like back then, can't wait |

| The Neuroi was a strong opponent. To think that it was a small one that controlled an entire iceberg. Yoshika was cool, the way she was fighting against the Neuroi herself. She was close to killing it as well. It was also cool seeing the rest of the team fighting together. The 501st is officially reformed with Shizuka being a new member. |

| This was a really enjoyable episode. Yoshika and the Doge ship held their own against the iceberg Neuroi and the production values for the fight was really good, too. Thankfully, the rest of the 501st squadron came to Yoshika's aid and they quickly took down the Neuroi. Sadly, the iceberg did destroy part of the port, but it could've been far worse than that if back-up arrived too late. Either way, with Shizuka now officially part of the team, I hope the next episode gets into the swing of what this series does well. Fanservice! XD |
| Yoshika was really cool this episode. Not to mention she use multiple shield to make a drill. Really cool. if only she had Shinden at that time.. And not to mention the neuroi this season really formidable. The animation is great and not to mention it feels like i'm watching a movie. I might buy the BD if only they have english sub available. |

| This episode was so awesome. So glad the crew is all back together. Miyafuji proves she is G.O.A.T, holding her own against the neroi all while protecting the ship with a shitty striker unit. Plus Shizuka officially joins the 501st. I love Strike Witches. |
| To be fair, you need a pretty high IQ to understand the intricacies of Strike Witches. Pretty kick ass episode. Kind of nice to have more of an interaction with the military units outside of the Strike Witches. But next few episodes will likely be back to Slice of life. If anything like the last series, expecting training with Shizuka. Interested to get a bit more of her character outside of the Movie. |

| god i love this series with that said to think that if Miyafuji had a working striker unit she would have been able to beat that thing herself but everything worked out in the end and now the team is back together and nice to see Shizuka back and nice to have her join the team though figured she would looking forward to next ep jealous Shizuka gonna be cute |

| That fight was intense, mainly because Yoshika was handicapped the whole time! But she and the battleship held out for the other girls to arriv. And Shizuka is now an official member of the 501st! Yay Shizuka! |

| The action are kind of boring IMO . The best part was easily when the lovebirds Yoshika and Lynette reunited and embraced each other . Awwwww the little lesbians are in love,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEES And next week looks like a fun episode with no fighting . Only lesbians having fun together and flirting like crazy. Like they should. I am looking forward to it  |

| I guess Sakamoto will show up with her old unit, Magnificent Lightning next episode? Shizuka showing up was a surprise to me, I recommended this to a friend given it gives us a brief introduction to the cast again and their personalities. At least Barkhorn is going to take back her homeland now. Only thing that bugged me is "Now, as of this moment, the 501st Joint Fighter Wing is officially reformed!" Minna-san you said that before xD I just think we could have done without that because if you saw the movie she already said that, felt redundant. I been anticipating this since like 2018 I think with the teaser trailer. Of courese Miyafuji being her normal self is fun to see again taking on the weight of the world. |
| All the witches are back and damn did it get wild. Looks like the enemy is learning as it took out its objective in a rather wild way. Jack and Rose are rolling over in there graves as they should of leanred by now the destructive power of giant icebergs. But I cant fault our girls. They were on time when needed. 501st Back In Action! |

| The episode as a whole is as convincing as the previous episode, the action is great and it is well done, the use of the CG is reduced to the essential, even if it could be reduced still a little more, in certain actions, however the fight in general is engaging and not taken for granted thanks to the twist that dispels the conviction of a happy ending. At the end this episode and the previous one, are the prologue to the main story and to present the new or almost character. Quality of the drawings and animations more than good, the opening is not bad and is different in the final part from that of the first episode where the girls are made in CG while already in this episode the drawings are made by hand, who knows why. I don't really like the ending, while I love the OST. I also noticed that after so many years the sounds of noises and more have all changed, oh well! |

| Oh, yeah, that epic reunion, very typical of SW has been made by David Pro. I find it kinda funny because this franchises already been made by so many different studios, but still ended up retains a typical scenes like that one. Nice detail. In the other notes, thats good seeing Shizuka-chan really took apart as JFW 501 replacing the retired Sakamoto role at those unit. Still, her appearance that came out of nowhere really bugged me for a while. Then, i shall just let it go, cause its didn't really matter at all. Lol. Anyway, lets continued their story again, that looks alike using some trail like the previous one. Which is mean? I hope its a fanservices! |

| After watching this episode I am wondering why Shizuka is in the 501st? I thought in operation victory arrow ep1 Minna had signed papers for Heidemarie to be under her command, but maybe that was just for the Trond air force base. |
