Do I have to watch the 2015 prequel?

I watched the first episode today and then saw that there was a prequel from 2016 called “Noblesse Awakening.” I watched that and saw that there was a 2015 prequel too. By looking on discussions there are some people saying not to watch it because it spoils a lot of the story, but there are other people saying that you need to watch it to understand. Could someone please explain whether or not I should watch this one too.

I would recommend watching it as the events in the first episode are directly after the OVA/ONA

I watched now because fans said what happens in the anime is after the Awakening OVA and i recommend the watch, it was really good, i was impressed by the OVA, if the actual anime series is like this, it has great potential.

Oh sorry, I didn’t realize that I had made a typo, I meant prequel referring to the 2015 “Noblesse: Pamyeol-ui Sijak.” It’s listed as a prequel for Noblesse Awakening.

Thank you for your response. I don’t necessarily plan on reading the manhwa (at least not until the anime ends). But I’d rather not skip ahead to a point in the source material ahead of the current point.

Yes, I would definitely watch it. It tells how Raizel wound up in the water. I think we will play a part in the series. 2015 OVA leads to the 2016 which leads to the series.

You should watch the 2 ova's I just watched the 1st episode and it is direcly related to 2 ova's.Its not a reboot.
