| Damn, that speech in the first half was really amazing. I am a sucker for this overly optimistic shit, I can't help it! That's why I love Star Trek. How nice would it be to achieve such an utopia one day? I love Rui and Hajime as characters, and the others are great support characters for those, too. I liked the action of this episode towards the end and can't wait to see how it continues! I still think the story is a bit confusing, but I think I am following so far. I am curious to see where this goes. So far this is one of the more enjoyable anime I watched recently and definitely has me hooked! |

| If only our politicians in real life had the balls this mayor has, our entire world would be a much, MUCH better place. Most mayors / governors / high public office holders (not all, but most) would sooner set off a bomb to clear the blocked tunnel, even if it meant killing all the people trapped, to save themselves, than risk being crushed trying to save injured women and children. |

| Cool, Rui can travel inside his "Crowds" thing. His motivations have become even more clear than before...achieving human instrumentality xD Or communism. Finally I get that Katze is invisible to humans, unless he (?) chooses to reveal himself. But wait, didn't Utsutsu say something about not touching people because of her abilities? How about that baby? Maybe she can "balance" her life-giving and life-draining powers? Or maybe they don't work through clothes? Gotta admit I can't get enough of Hajime's way of speaking with all these "desu ka", etc. He was relaying a message from Sousei X (Rui's A.I. assistant). But yeah Sousei X is Berg Katse's leader in the orginal series. Interesting observation. I wonder if Katze was just ironic here, or is this hierarchy real. The guy with the red shirt (the firefighter, iirc) has the same double triangle symbol as Rui's NOTE, huh. Probably just something related to GALAX symbolism. P.S. Funny, one of the meanings of "sousei" is "the masses/people" |
