So glad to see that Izumi's feelings for Nao are sincere from the beginning. She has always seen Eiji as a friend and didn't understand him until not long ago. She was hesitating at first because she loves Nao but wanted to protect their friendship (since Eiji really considers Nao as his best friend).
Seeing Izumi and Nao's point of view was very refreshing. They love each other, and despite the fact they couldn't get to see each other very often they still managed to stay a good couple. I don't see them as selfish characters, they were just unaware of Eiji's feelings (and that's totally normal, some people are difficult to read even if they are your friends).
Despite what happened, Izumi still wants to remain good friends with Eiji, and Naohiko too, he doesn't want to hate him, and that's why I think their friendship is beautiful.

Now I think that they should talk with Eiji about that, he still needs to apologize properly. And after that, I hope he will be able to find a new person to love (hope it will be Fujimura lol)

For some reason the conversation ended up feeling a bit too cheesy for me... But I guess it had to be done to clear themselves of any misunderstandings.

After this flashback, I think I don't like Nao as much as I used to. I know it's not his fault, and I don't particularly support Eiji's first love either.... Just feel like Eiji's presented as a victim/villain quite often... Which I know the MC of any manga probably experiences... But still gotta feel sorry for him.
