| I thought the girl by the tunnel was Arie at the beginning? The one image where she had blood coming down her legs. And was Arie who fell at the end in the pit? I think so, right? So, what comes chronologically first? It might be the pit, 'cause I'm guessing the girl who found dead in that tunnel was Arie's mother. So when her father had that boner they spoke about her mother being dead, so it must have happened after her discovery. So se fell in the pit, but she survives. Then her father must have raped her and then she goes in front of the tunnel where her mother died and where she heard that voice. Also I think she still was Arie who spoke to that figure who told how bck in time we should have gone. And the guy at the beginning, with his adoptive father should be the boy who defended Arie from those children. We're hopping timeframes like hell, aren't we? |
| For me at least this is pretty interesting and mystical at the same time. I'm still very new to the Manga world, the only reason I'm here is that I googled something about Manga that has a photorealistic art style, while not the best, the short length and genre direction seemed intriguing enough for me to invest. I'm pretty sure the father is up to something, he could pretty much be the “thing” they were talking about. I'm not sure if he had a boner whilst talking with Arie, but if that's the kind of “dark” plot they are heading forward, I should probably prepare myself mentally for what's to come. |
| I can tell that this manga heavily inspired Asano's other work and magnum opus that is Oyasumi Punpun from how similar the story's vibe was and how similar the character's names and designs are to the later manga. Not really into this one yet though. That dad's boner while talking to his kid is bad news. |
