THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Ah this show is back but seriosuly, Freddie's curiousity got him into a bit of complicated affairs.

The overall humor and style of the series still remains the same based on this episode. I think this one is just get the fans to warm up for rest of the season. Freddie is kinda fun to watch though imo.

Best scene is when Stola practice to join resistance, he can't be more cute!

Other scenes are skippable.

I liked it. I don't enjoy recap episodes, but over half of this one was original content. I really enjoyed seeing it from Freddie's point of view, and it went a long way to endearing him to me. I didn't dislike him until now, but I can't say I was fond of him at all. I'm looking forward to the next episode when the 2nd season really begins.

It's a decent recap because we see some new stuff (the village scenes) .
THe OP is lit too and I'm hyped!

Ok, it's cool they do some world building but like they could've stopped in the second half of the episode.

Novels I have read/am reading pending approval: since November 10 2022

Isn't she the girlfriend (or relative of some sort? Can't remember exactly.) of the guy who is in coma - trapped in this quest.

She's the sister of Masaki, the guy in a coma whose consciousness is in Eldora as Seltsam's pilot.

For a recap episode, this feels heartwarming (seeing the better scenes of GBD) while heart-wrenching knowing the end of Re:Rise S1, but it finally gives us an explanation as to why Freddie is the chosen "summoner" of the "Creators".

The new opening is also more powerful than the last, screaming out "now that the stakes are higher, let's begin the 2nd arc".

Just a question that still lingers in my mind. We have 5 variants of Hiroto's Core Gundam, with 3 teased in the OP. So what happened to the 6th planet Saturn? (considering Uraven is a reference to the 7th planet Uranus) unless that's the hidden unit from the OP...

so the first half of this episode was way back before this happened on episode 1 and we now know how he contacted those 4 for their Hidden Mission!

Freddie was delusional. Hiroto and the others had no relationship with the BUILD DIVERS. To think that was the reason he called them that.

I didn't realize how much I missed this one until I started this episode. It was kind of a recap, but it was more than that. I like Freddie more than before now, and I think I find Stola to be more annoying than before too. He desperately wanted to join the Resistance, but he couldn't even bring himself to do the chores he was assigned with in the first place. Welp, it was kind of moving, I guess it's because I'm still not over Jed's death, but I can't wait for more.

Awesome start to an awesome series. Given how things were left last season, and the fact living entities can be born from one world to another, its not even a leap of faith the colossal galaxy spanning war our new build divers have got themselves into. Ive even warmed a bit to the annoying guy. Him and the fox eared girl defo in the running for best couple 2020!

Freddy was so cute this episode. Which makes knowing all he's gone through all the more heartbreaking. The scene were he tries to reassure the younger girl that he's going to get the Build Divers back showed how he's matured through his experience.
