Oh boy, the amount of fan service just shot through the roof this episode with the bath.

Not to mention, we also got an episode focused on Karin.

Ooh...only Iride and Roro are omitted in the team? That's disturbing, given the amount of evidence that Onigasaki found last episode.

Largely anime-original episode (plus bonus manga material if you want to call it), if the fanservice is meant to talk about it, earning a rest for the team before the storm. Yuzu is just being her perverse self to the innocent Karin.

The 8-bit game style was apt as the guys are proposing ways to get out of the bath without the girls noticing. Only Iride could manage this and not just without the usual banters of Onigasaki and Oshigiri.

Back into moving on with the story, Onigasaki found a new lead...that unfortunately bomb-dropped him into the dreaded White Room. What is the mystery behind his family, and the others too (while we're at it)?

Oh damn. Onigasaki was taken into the white room.

I actually liked this episode with its onsen theme. Karin can be quite dangerous.

Ok that was hilarious.
Not just the escape tactics but especially freakin Aikawa sleeping on this rock the whole time xD

So it's Onigasaki in the white room after all

A surprisingly entertaining episode.
Normally, a hot-spring episode would be subpar at best, but this show double downed on it and offered a fairly unique spin on it.
Not to mention the amazing voice acting this episode as well as the pixel art segment.

That said, the ending does leave me curious for what's coming next.

Have to agree, the most pleasant "on-sen" episode I have ever witnessed, I believe. Because it was actually funny. Just the right mix of absurdity, "fan-service" and mature approach to the situation. We have seen Onigasaki's flashback about him leaving his dojo-home or something, I don't exactly remember whom he clashed with (father or grandfather), but it seems he did not know that his grandfather is ill... which then begs the question just how much time had passed since their "abduction" and game start.

That was a very lousy onsen service, them guys deliberated that long and it took a long time for Karirn to react like mad???????

Oh shit Onigasaki is in the "White Room" or more like detention.

I hated that onsen part. Why do onsen scenes always play out the same way? Wish we got to see characters properly bonding like in 'Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru'.

Other than the onsen and the fan service scenes, this was a good enough episode.

With this chapter I’m starting to get the danganronpa vibes. I’m good with onigasaki out of the game, never been a fan of him.

Who said he is out? "Game" is only a pretext. If necessary, rules are changed. Alpaca proved that many times now. Just some extra drama with Onigasaki before he is let out on parole.

Well this is strange, because this particular bath scene was the exact opposite of what usually happens - the boys did not do anything wrong, but badmouthed Alpaca so he pulled a prank on them. Care to elaborate what "played out the same way" in comparison to other series with pathetic, "fan-service" ridden bath scenes?

A funny chill episode. I liked it. Also, Yuzu is such a bisexual.

The whole onsen mix up makes no sense, I doubt Paka changed the curtains so it would still be pretty obvious which is which, not to mention the girls already had come here so they would notice that the girls side had beed changed even if Paka did change the curtains, and even if for some reason they didn't notice you're telling me they didn't notice the guys clothes in the cubby holes?

The whole episode felt pointless with just a couple scenes of Onigasaki reacting to the files

Felt like a filler episode to me, except for Onigasaki's part. My fav character got into the white room. I wonder how things would go next.

The Ones Within delivers another fine episode! After last week's very difficult challenge, our merry band of gamers get a small moment of rest and relaxation and take a hot bath. This leads to the clichéd "trying to a avoid a perverted situation in a hot bath" scenario, which felt more tedious than funny. Still, it was fun to see the gamers not having to worry about life-endangering challenges and try to relax. Unfortunately, whenever the gamers go, trouble is sure to follow, as Kaikoku finds something that might make things difficult for the others in the long run. All in all, The Ones Within has proven to be a solid and enjoyable experience and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Who would have thought that the worst enemy they have encountered and lost to wasn't a game character but the real monster Karin herself.

Well things went as Paka said, never mess with him....
