Usually those who make this kind of statements (moetron, AIR, etc.) say they get a leak. While they may sometimes be wrong, most of the time they're correct and release news faster than officials. Recent example is how they leak Bokuben season 2 faster than other sites. Another one was Fire Force, which they said is gonna be 4 cour, while ANN said it's 2 cour based on disc volumes. Fire force is getting season 2 with only 2 seasons gap, and anime series need long time production so it's almost certain that they already planned it to have more than 2 cour since beginning. I think their 'news' have 90% accuracy. I think Magireco is going to have either the usual split cour or a 2nd cour with longer gap (2 seasons or even 1 year). |

If MagiReco is gonna be a split cour, I find it more likely that the next cour will take more time, like 2 seasons or a whole year, cause in July, Shaft will be releasing another Mahou Shoujo anime called Assault Lilly Bouquet and it seems strange for them to release 2 animes of the same genre at the same time... They usually don't do that, you know, and it would be damaging to the quality of both productions. I'm really not sure about the split cour rumour but it would be nice if it were true. |

| It's funny that I asked them for a source since the website confirmed 13 episodes like 3 days after they posted this and rather than replying they deleted their tweet. They're trying to be a "news" group. A good journalist admits their music, not hides them. My guess is they got a leak that said that it will be a TOTAL of X episodes and they misunderstood that to mean that the single season would be that many episodes. Still wrong, still lacking integrity since they deleted the tweet rather t han responding in a reply that they made a mistake. They should only post 100% validated information, not rumors/leaks. There's no official information on the length, but for anyone who's seen the first 3 episodes it's quite clear that the story won't be told in 13 episodes. It's like you guys have never watched anime. There are literally hundreds of anime that end with a "and our story goes on" ending. In fact, it's MOST anime. Assuming an anime will tell a full story is a risky bet lol. Also, DVD/Blu-ray listings ARE the official information on length. There are accurate like 99% of the time. I assume second cour will air in July. |

Its madoka after all they not even need to wait to see if its sucessful or not, and if it cames in less than 1 year just proves it |(after all it the time to make from zero an continuation if it was in the way you say). |
