[HELP!!] PETITION FOR A SEASON 2 OF AKATSUKI NO YONA

Hello,

I recently came be aware of this anime. I haven't seen anime in some years, but sure got me suprise the fact this series doesn't have a second season and more. Am I the only one?

So I decide to create a petition: https://www.change.org/p/pierrot-kazuhiro-yoneda-akatsuki-no-yona-season-2

Most of my sharing has been on Tumblr and Twitter. I wish I could get Japanese support in it since company, Studios Pierrot, sells firstly to them, when outside community actually supports a lot of their products as well.

It's been 4 years since anime debut it, and 2 since last OVA. I find it so odd the lack of attention on such brilliant plot!

Can I count on your support any way you can give to petition by signing it and sharing it? Throw foruns, blogs, social media...

Forget about second season. Just read the manga it is way better than the anime. Also, as others said, it is useless to create a western petition for a Japanese show.

I signed it. ♡ So happy that there are almost 2k signatures! A western petition may not matter much in the long run, but who knows? It gets the ball rolling, at least -- or so I'd like to think. ☆

At the bare minimum, it gives you an idea on how many people want the same thing you do. Seeing that number when many people around the area I live in don't watch much anime at all, and many others I know haven't even heard of this show or read the manga, it was a very amazing sight to see.

Hi , I’ve been watching a dozen times of akatsuki no Yona and it’s never boring for me because I really love this anime . I would watch finish the episodes and then go to manga and read the rest and back to anime again. I just can’t wait for the second season !! I want the second season so badly !! 😿

Don’t wait. Just read the manga. Pierrot is so autistic that they don’t understand what fans want and decided to make shit anime like boruto and black clover. It’s really sad that pierrot just threw their fame away.

I want a second season too, but this petition won't get you anywhere. A small forum like this won't increase or even affect the likelyhood of getting a second season.

This is the first Shoujo anime I've ever liked. I'm super into shounen but also love the idea of a female protagonist & relationships dealt with in a slightly more realistic/complex/mature way... Which shonen is SEVERALLY lacking in.
