| What a nice way for me to start 2020 with a chill and fluffy show like this. =) My expectations were at a decent level since this is a CGDCT type of show and it's made by Doga Kobo. Thankfully, those expectations have been met so far and this first episode was very enjoyable. Mira's personality is very upbeat and she's pretty funny as well, also helped by the fact that's a bit clumsy, too. ^^; The art style is pleasant and the voice acting from the main cast is pretty good, too. The OP/ED songs were very nice and chill, something that I will listen to again when the next episode comes out. All in all, this was a nice start. Here's to 12 or so episodes of cuteness that'll put a smile on the audience's faces! =D |

| okay I can tell I will vastly enjoy this series. this would be my feel-good show for this season! I just like the gay vibes :D (yes its not actually yuri and all that, don't care hahaha) Also today I learned that "magnitude" can also be used to describe the brightness of an astronomical object. I was like "isn't that the measure used for earthquakes" so I paused the video and googled it and was surprised. You learn something new everyday.... |

| Favorite anime so far this year. What an adorable first episode. The clear shoujo ai theme and the blushing Ao provides makes me so warm inside. This is obviously romantic. I like the simple story so far. It seems the main plot in this episode is the rekindled relationship with the setting of Astronomy/Geology and the common goal of discovering an asteroid. That’s going to be hard without a decent telescope and imaging equipment. I believe some advance mathematics is also a must. I am actually rather excited as I was in the Astronomy/Geology club in High School. I even won an award. I’m looking forward to the Riverside BBQ next week. |

| Cute start, maybe could've been stronger overall and the characters are a little archetypical right now, but overall still liked this and has potential for a little while at least. I like the aspect of the divided club and the two main girls work well off each other especially. I dunno if this will end up in the upper echelon of CGDCT, but for right now, I'm enjoying it. |

| Doga Kobo you glorious bastards you did it again. Production quality is just so good. Gorgeous color palette. Subtle animation flourishes. Ao's character design overall has a distinctive, interesting feel to it, with a great choice of voice actress. And Mira's got some lovely eyes. The production team clearly took great pride in those close-ups. This is the perfect late friday night, lights off, hot cup of herbal tea, warm blanket kind of show. Very interested to see where this goes. It won't need too much plot as it's not that sort of show, but it would be nice to see a bit more flavour than the solid production quality and cozy iyashikei. It seems unlikely to be the sort of show that actually develops the yuri romance undertones to any serious level, but one can hope. More likely however, is that it goes for some dramatic notes. Stick the landing on those and this could be a real treasure. But even if this chooses to just relax and ride the top-tier SOL foundation it's laid in this first episode, I will happily give this a 7 or 8. First episode gets an 8 for now. Can't wait for more! | I felt like i was watching a Mix of AnimaYell and Wataten... (Ao Manaka = Grown Hana Shirosaki?) Very nice first episode... I think Suzu is gonna be my best girl here... Couldnt resist the laughing... really entertaining. First ED of 2020 to join my Spotify Anime Playlist... PS: i think a little bit of Innocent/Shy Yuri (Zero Ecchi) would be interesting and better. |

Ao is really cute, and Mira (I think that is her name; it usually takes me a few episodes to get them all down) is not bad herself even though she is a complete mess lol. Since we are not allowed to talk about yuri here without the RobertBobert police cracking down on us, I will simply say that I am looking forward to more cute, completely platonic moments between Ao and Mira in future episodes. Edit: Wow, how clever! He posted an answer on my profile to avoid looking like my comment bothered him on here! At least he took his bullshit somewhere else, am I right? |

| Man, we're starting off the new decade with @Yuri-Crusader's massively fan-favourite Yuri undertones with Doga Kobo's standard-fare CGDCT sci-fi show about girls reaching for the stars through club and activities. Oh how the starting being a clickbait for BGR-crush-turned-Yuri, guess that's pretty normal. The visual aesthetics for last year's Wataten! pretty much solidifies this as a whole. Leads Konohara Mira (which reminds me of Miyako's younger sister) and Manaka Ao are off to a Yuri start, being both outgoing and introspective respectively. And with the Earth Sciences Club (a mix of 2 clubs, geology and Astronomy), recognition is Step 1 of getting funds to do the activities of their dreams. And most importantly, fulfill their promise to each other. Good start, will find myself having fun in CGDCT anime as usual. |

| In my historic first 2020s show I see a middle-of-the-road CGDCT(as expected); OK visuals, OK premise, OK characters, OK writing, passable voice acting, and a pleasant colour palette. It's enough for me to watch I think. I'm kinda liking Ao. |

| I love Doga Kobo a lot but this just bored the hell out of me for some reason.. was there even comedy? thats mostly how I can only tolerate CGDCT anime besides them being adorable... wait.. I think they did attempt some mediocre comedy but it was barely noticeable.. will give it till ep 3 but this ep was a big let down from one of my favorite studios. |

| It'll surely be the typical school anime, i don't like that too much, but meh. I hope the anime to have scientific explanations (i really love science). About the visuals and the music, i liked them too much, and i think the anime will be really nice in those aspects. 85/100 |

| It looks good, and I if this turns out to be a girls love anime, well, with this episode it looks fine, nothing strange and a normal relationship, it's the first episode, but it looks really good. And actually the possible space-mineral things that this anime could have interests me, so for now I'll watch it till ep 3. |

| This was unexpectedly good! I thought it would be like 'Rifle is Beautiful' which I wasn't a big fan of. Characters are good and quirky. Hopefully we get to see more of Suzu-chan. Love the ED song. |

| More Doga Kobo is always good. They didn't have anything last season and there wasn't really any shows to fill that CGDCT spot last season for me. Hoping this fills my seasonal need for a CGDCT show. Seems like her friend is up for the yuri route as well. Not that I think the show will get anywhere but always good to have support than annoyances. Would have been pretty amusing if Radwimps' Dream Lantern started playing there at the end when they were looking up into the sky. |

Maybe you didn't know that Venus stand for the female sex, and the symbol for the female sex interlocking are a symbol they use in the lesbian community Several time in this episode Mira and Ao was interlocking under Venus's eye! That is symbolism that point at that direction. And it was way more! Ao acutely stated she have feelings for Mira before she called her .In a previous conversation Mira said "You're really different from when you were younger" Ao reflected over that while she was calling Mira,, By those words "My hair and body may have changed!! So I imagine I do seem different now!! But my feelings,,,,," So she is clearly still in love with Mira. Maybe you wasn't paying any attention and was busy correcting everyone in the forum, rather then watching the anime? In the end they are fictional characters and cant neither be straight gay or anything else! Because they miss a body soul and a mind. We can therefor bend them to our will and pretend they are whatever we want them to be.Its just some innocent fun and something cute to fantasise over. You are so serious and getting so angry about it, and need to police everyone else!! Let people have their own opinions!!! But you don't need to answer, you are going to be the first one on MAL I put on my ignore list in the forum! I read peoples opinions and take them to me even if they different from mine! I think Mikage Sakurai is so far my favorite girl mainly because she's voiced by Nao Touyama and the gag that Sakurai was already shoving rocks into at Suzu-chan (the light purple haired one that didn't joined) in the hope of joining the geology gang. Very recognizable indeed as a fellow rock hound. It's a rock hound thing. You wouldn't understand it otherwise if you're not into geology related sciences. I also loved the nod at The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya as an attempt for gaining new members with a bunny suit. |

There is an amethyst stone that I keep in my room for goodluck. And a crystal from a cave we visited many years ago is still displayed in a glass closet along with some other stuffs. I'm hoping for more things from the geology side of the club. Could also be just imagining things, but vice pres sort of looks like a young Maki Nishikino from Love Live.. :) |
