 Publishing company Hifumi Shobo announced an anime adaptation of Kennoji's Cheat Kusushi no Slow Life: Isekai ni Tsukurou Drugstore (Cheat Pharmacist's Slow Life: Making a Drugstore in Another World) light novel at Comiket 97 on Saturday.Synopsis One day, a corporate slave Reiji, suddenly got transported to another world. He made the best of his skills to make better potions, which earned him lots of money, and with that money, made a drugstore! An Elf who has trouble aiming with his bow? Give him some eye-drops! A Dragon who always let breathes out fire unintentionally? Don't worry, we have cough medicine for you! Reiji's new, fun, slow life as a pharmacist in a village drugstore starts now!! (Source: MU, edited) Kennoji began penning the comedy fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in July 2016. Linda Publishers released two volumes with artworks by Nigou Shouji in February and June 2017 before going bankrupt. Hifumi Shobo reacquired the series and published the first volume last April, featuring illustrations by Matsuuni. The third and latest volume shipped on June 28. A manga adaptation by Eri Haruno has been serialized in Web Comic Gamma Plus since December 2018. Takeshobo published the first volume on June 28. | Premise sounds like a SoL, which I'd welcome with open arms. Sadly, I don't see such tag on LN site. Even though I like isekai, I'm getting wary of those attempt at yet another twist at this genre, that usually just end up being a meaningless gimmick. I guess I'll wait and see. |
