 The official website of the Yakusoku no Neverland (The Promised Neverland) television anime announced on Saturday that its second season will begin airing in October 2020 on Fuji TV's noitaminA programming block. The website also revealed an illustration based on the final scene of the first season (pictured above). noitaminA will rebroadcast the first season in July 2020. The first anime season produced by CloverWorks aired in 12 episodes in Winter 2019. Aniplex of America licensed the anime series and streamed it on Crunchyroll, Funimation, Hulu, and HIDIVE. VIZ Media published the first three chapters of the manga in English in their digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, at the same time as Japan, as a part its Jump Start initiative before adding the series to its regular lineup. The company's new Shounen Jump platform now simulpublishes the manga with its Japanese release digitally. The 12th volume shipped on October, with the 13th volume scheduled for a January 7, 2020 release. A live-action film based on the manga will open in theaters in Japan in Winter 2020.
