I rewatched Shokugeki just right before this season came and if I remember correctly, which I'm pretty certain, didn't she join the elite ten during her junior year? I looked it over a couple of times and hey, maybe the subs failed but I'm pretty sure... Everyone's fawning over Erina being part of the elite ten in her first year of highschool, and Azami being the third seat in his first year, but didn't Jun achieve an even more impressive feat? Even more so considering that that was the previous golden age, right? |

Surely she's got some real skill at the very least. well all i know she spend all of time in research in spices and not interested into shokugekies, also to get into the elite ten it doesn't have to be only a shokugeki it's also contribution to the totsuki, what kind of contribution did jun did to totsuki and erina too. Oh yeah, that makes sense. Research is a big contribution and she seems to be among the best in the field. I was just surprised when that little detail was just sprinkled in Saiba's backstory. They didn't even mention it, it was just glanced over with like the title cards for the characters. Only noticed it cos it was my second viewing of the show lol. |
