| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- This chapter brought a quote by Elie Wiesel to my mind- "The opposite of love is not hate; it is indifference". Assuming that death is not a personified being and based off of what was implied here, death is random. But then according to other chapters, everyone's fate is already laid out. So maybe in this particular manga dimension, everyone's fate has millions of paths that it can branch off into, depending upon a person's decisions. I also think it's strange that God has such a grasp on the meaning of death when he is an immortal being (though technically he's everything, so maybe it isn't so strange). He's just a hard character/rl being to wrap my head around. The last line- "what kind of twist did you expect?"- sounded like he was speaking to the readers; it was chilling. |

| Dropping a YOLO casually like that, lmao. It is interesting how God mentions external factors ("improper" suicide method, other people intervening) can save one's life while their soul is in limbo, but He can't interfere with the destination of a soul—except to cast it to be reincarnated, apparently. |
