| A criminally underrated show that further erodes whatever faith I have in the taste of masses. Every season. But this is on a whole new level. It should at least be one of those 8-ish scored shows which, while having niche appeal, is widely considered very good. Something like Hi Score Girl or Ergo Proxy. The quality of animation and the art, the character designs, the directing, the drop-dead gorgeous color palette... Plus there is a genuinely good story with plot twists and strong themes. I'm not even much of a mecha fan but this blew me away. If it weren't for a few small issues it would have got a 10 from me. Stunning anime. The masses genuinely just can't handle anything which doesn't follow a standard forumla eh? I'm 100% blaming normies for this. |

Usually I can tell why the underrated stuff didn't have the necessary mass appeal and it doesn't bother me. But literally everything about Granbelm seemed super high quality minus maybe not the absolute best character depth. I just don't get what turned so many people off about this. I've read some complaints about the mechs. I know mecha isn't crazy popular already, and the chibi mech designs probably didn't help. But I'm still really shocked. |

| Granbelm isn't dark, or at least not the same way dark as Madoka. It's mystical. Much more similar to Rozen Maiden than Madoka, actually. |
| Let's see... let me copy and paste Madoka and Homura from that hit show, throw in some chibi mecha and then write some convoluted story on why they should fight. I'll even make the MC more dense and air headed than previous ones and of course she'll be so over powered like an isekai protagonist. I'll even throw in some yuri to keep them interested. I hope they buy it. |

| A lot of people dropped this from the start cuz of the robots. Story may have been weak, but fuck that, this easily had some of the most well animated mecha fight scenes in recent history and was entertaining as all fuck. 9/10, need in Super Robot Wars asap |

| While I agree that this show is underrated, I don't think that it deserves a score higher than 8. I mean, yeah it was good. But it's hard for me to say that it's much better than Yuuki Yuuna. And Yuuki Yuuna only got 7.45. |
