will fill this in later. I got bored *Note: I'm copying a bunch of these from the old club and haven't seen them all, so if my categorization is wrong, let me know! |

I am addicted to anime. As I do not have the habit of reading manga, I can’t go much further on this side. But I will name some anime with LGBT reference and characters with such aspects. Loveless (gay) Honoo no mirage (gay) Yami no Matsuei (gay) Hybrid Child (gay) Dramatical Murder (gay) Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru (gay) Koizumi George and Nagase Arashi from Paradise kiss (bisexual) Isabela Yamamoto from Paradise Kiss (transgender) Urushibara Ruka from Steins Gate (transgender) Mariandale from Ixion Saga DT (transgender) Aoi Hyoudou from Kaichou wa Maid sama (transgender) Kiyoharu Suirenji from Mahou shoujo Site (transgender) Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi (transgender) *In the beginning of the story. Kino from Kino’s Journey (nonbinary/transgender) Ymir from Shingeki no Kyojin (lesbian) *She has a special feeling for Krista. Shizuku Ashuu and Habutae Nana from Mahoushoujo Ikusei Keikaku (lesbian) Kyuubei Yagyuu from Gintama (lesbian/transgender) NOTE: Remembering that are only personal opinions and observations and some anime mentioned above do not directly portray this theme. |

lgbt stuff I've watched/read not specifically about lgbt but does include them hxh 2011 anime(some type of pan/bi and transgenderism) I'm sure you all know but hisoka is uhhhhh somthing... but Alluka's storyline is an extremely empathetic dipiction of a trans girl's relationship with her insane family and a consequence of Togashi's playing with gender in other works there's also more themes in other characters but its less stated than these two Promare movie(mlm) the dudes kiss to save the world idk what else to tell you also Lio is kinda gender goals tokyo godfathers movie(transgender) one of the best movies of all time imo Hana steals the show completely being consistantly funny and kind despite facing a lot of misgendering. Her motivations often comes because of her desire to be a mother and a really interesting take on trans woman relating to the virgin mary due not being able to bear children its nice to see a relation between christianity and trans people that isn't hostile. If by the end my transphobic mother instinctivly correctly gendered her I think that's definately worth something Otherside picnic anime and manga(wlw) Sorawo falls into the "otherside" due to her passion for exploring and finds Toriko who save her from the monsters that lie within they find that together they can survive the weird and sometimes terrifing landscape. In the normal side Sorawo with the help of Torkio learns to be friends with people. They also refer to each other as partners in crime which is the "most important relationship in this world". The cgi is sometimes rough but from what I've seen yuri shoujo based on a light novel is not really given much budget so I forgive it. The manga is pretty solid too from what I've seen Zombieland saga anime(transgender) I'm sure you've seen the Lily horikoshi shut up terf meme. But Her storyline is such an good dipiction of how devastating dysphoria actually is especially to trans people in the spotlight also I find it fun how they put the flag colors schemes in a lot of the scenes. I put Saki down as wlw because her relationship with her old gang mate had a certain vibe. more focused toward lgbt themes mahou shoujo madoka magic anime including the movies(wlw) Another one I'm sure you've heard about EXTREME SPOILERS the entire show is extremely girl focused with rebellion Homura explicitly describes her feelings toward Madoka as 愛(ai)love somthing not used without weight and mostly in fiction due to its intensity also pretty much only romantic. On Madoka's end Homura is the person she became a god for essentially died so Homura wouldn't have to suffer also at the end they embrace naked in a sparkling void that Madoka created with the other girls specifically with kyoko and sayaka(my favorite character) theirs are somewhat less shown if having a lovers suicide is less obvious if you want the full rundown https://wiki.puella-magi.net/Yuri_undertones Princess Jellyfish anime (gender nonconforming) is entirely about how feminity is seen and used by those of a genders and persuasions. Has some of the most girls that look like real people I'd see around I've seen. Its a good examination of why people feel connected to masculinity and feminity and how to reclaim those things for yourself. No explicitly lgbt stuff except for when the main relationship that's developing gets mistaken for a lesian couple but I think still has a lot of heart. the executioner and her way of life(wlw) tries to be an examination of the isekei genre and its wish fullfilment attidude as a kind of dark isekei. I like that the main character is not the isekeied character and is a fun examination on how the scurge of isekei protags lately would feel almost like colonialism to that world. But the actual storyline as a bit feels a bit just bland to me as of yet School zone girls manga(wlw) one of my favorite mangas especially because I typically don't like slice of life things. The main storyline is about 2 delingquent girls Rei and Kei and their school life trying to figure out their feelings for each other. Its hard to fully describe but its very funny there's a bunch of other stories of other girls at their school too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y98OjctiIP8 this is a good video that got me into it |
