Jesus Christ, that blood being spilled. The antagonists this season aren't fucking around.

Episode had a thrilling feel to it especially with how far they want to make a point. The road action was dope with Chris, Maria, and others fighting.

Good to see the transformation of Chris and hear her singing again.
Love the action, even how they protect the civilians. Can't wait for the next episode and Maria giving us more insight why it is remembering her of the song with Serena.

So where can I learn the Car Clone: Ninja Technique? Where do I sign up?

Great episode today with many major reveals to the characters themselves and a little bit more detail on Tsubasa's Curse left by Milaarc and Nice Scene with Maria and Chris Fighting together on a highway chase, Chills when Chris used ricochet bullets on Vanessa, lifted up the Car with her rockets and when she said "Put your hands up", -_- Now we have to wait another week for what happens next.

Oh my gosh, we're actually going to have to deal with an brainwashed evil Tsubasa this season aren't we? Who will get the honors of snapping her out of it I wonder - Hibiki? Maria? Both? I'd like both. (Well actually I'd like for Tsubasa to NOT get brainwashed, but I digress)

Another solid episode in my opinion.

I really quite enjoyed this episode with it finally getting to the story. Funny the second I just stopped thinking about it and just consumed it I started to enjoy it.

I'm SOOOO glad they're not beating around the bush and are outright referring to Miku as someone with the potential to harness the power of god instead of just saying Hibiki's friend. The Miku floating thing is very good to see. So Miku's guaranteed involved for at least 7 episodes which I'm so happy about.

Well as literally everyone predicted it was that guy that got stabbed.

BUT OMG HIBIKI'S REACTION TO REALISING MIKU WAS SAFE WAS THE BEST THING IVE EVER SEEN!!!! <3 Heartwarming as hell.

Seeing Miku's reaction to that guy being stabbed though wasn't nice. Hearing her scream hurt so glad they didn't zoom in on her face to make it worse.

No idea what the enemy wants to do with what looked like dead autoscores and that big machine. This episode has also completely solidified the fact that they are murderers and nothing else. Vanessa was literally reveling in the fact that she murdered people and taunting the Symphogear users with it. I like this move as its going away from them being redeemable and more along the lines of Dr Ver evil for the sake of being evil. They should have just done this from the start.

Oguwa's driving skills are immense XD. Glad he didn't get hit like in every other Symphogear season when there's a car chase. Anything that isn't copy and paste from previous seasons I'll praise.

Another difference Im happy to see is that Noble Red are getting their ass kicked over and over instead of the predictable Symphogear formula of baddies show up win, lose, win, lose then eventually good guys win. This further enforces that statement that they're weaker than the previous enemies which I like since Symphogear a lot of the time doesn't stay consistent with what they set up so more props to XV.

It looks like Tsubasa is going to be controlled by the enemy completely soon and go to Fudo. Makes sense. Tsubasa attitude is personally pissing me off but I guess that's the point.

Overall a great episode my rating of XV has went up I hope they keep this up.

Ogawa and his ninja car cloning skills were the highlight of the episode. Also, that driver guy whose car was used by Maria and Chris as a plataform during their fight with Vanessa is my new favorite character.

The ending left me intrigued for sure. Cannot wait for next episode.

Man, Tsubasa's family issues never truly went away for the entirety of the show, and it really is evident here. It's always been put aside in the past seasons, but now it has come to a breaking point. I feel like Tsubasa really needs to physically get some sense beaten into her if she turns up on the enemy's side (which is more likely gonna happen).

This show's way of doing cliffhangers is completely different in nature from the likes of Neverland and Kimetsu no Yaiba.

I don't know with this episode of course Miku will not be killed by Millaarc because if we remember AXZ episode 13, when Elfnein talks about how Hibiki can hold the divine power, Genjuro recalls that Miku can do it too, so of course thanks to the Shem Ha bracelet will hold. The divine power like nothing and the "coconut" thing was like when Hibiki was trapped in episode 12 of AXZ.

When I see the Millaarc and Elza with Elfnein in the Chateau de Tiffauge and thar dolls or "autoscorer" I was thinking "we have Michas 2.0 now?"

How Chris and Maria fight against Vanessa was epic because it was in the road but Vanessa wss like Millaarc in episode 2 and don't care about the innocents so "these are the same level, nuff said".

I hope Tsubasa will be ok and also again my hate towards Fudo escalated.

I hope they can save Miku and their lifes will be normal after this.

Nice, the vampire killed the fag and not Miku.
Still I don't like Millaarc. Why hurt the alchemist? She has not done anything to you..

Tsubasa is in some real problem now. Evil old man being evil.

Glad they won't do something like reuse Chateau.. that is Carol's weapon, and has already been defeated by Hibiki. Still a nice trivia that Elfnein could still activate it, but could not control the Chateau. Well, looks like they would attempt something else this time.

Oh...Millaarc framed their deaths eh?

So the inspection was all a ploy to get Elfnein and Miku captured...

Aww now that's cute. Tsubasa batting away Maria's hand, shocked at what she just did, and then walking away...

Wow Fudo is aware of the curse. He's manipulating her. Hmm...that's going to be Tsubasa's struggle here. Stay loyal to Fudo and protect Japan at all costs even if it means turning on her friends, or disobey her grandfather and break free from his control? Of course we already know the result of that...

Hey! You can't just toss little girl Elfnein like that!

An Autoscorer army?

A Serena flashback? We're really bringing this back...

Woohoo! Chest missiles uncensored!

Fuck you Ogawa! You can't do that! I need a gif! Naruto got nothing on this!

Well that's convenient. Vanessa can shoot bullets out of her fingers even when they're elongated.

Hornet Pistols! A reference to Sex Pistols am I right?

This is exactly how a movie director would have done it...

Oh yeah! Talk about jetpacks!

Did...Did Maria just curve Chris' missiles with her whip? Now that was unexpected...

"Put your hands up!" Haha!

Resonates within me like "apple"...Oh God...I don't even want to speculate what is about to happen...

Vanessa mentions something about the Airgetlamh being a relic different from Igalima and Shul Shagana. If Maria is resonating with that thing...I'm not even going to ask. Too much speculation here...Let's just accept this and move on.

I’m pretty sure that chase scene with Vanessa is a total tribute to ARC-V and 5D’S.
P.S. If anyone in the Symphogear fandom points out this Xenoglossia, please submit me a messeage and tell me what It really is.

Wow. Just wow. Another week left me with questions.

6 episodes down and 7 to go. That’s right! It’s 13 in total. How are things are gonna resolve in the end I wonder? I wonder what happens next in 2020/2021 and can’t believe this show is almost over. Hope people don’t forget it.

This episode one thing that left me with questions are why of course it’s title card ‘‘Xenoglossia’‘ and what does it mean? I tried goggle but the answer is just more confussing as hell.

And yes. Elfnien and Miku are both safe. Turns out the only person who died this week was some nameless minor character nobody cares about.

There is also the matter of Millaarc’s behaviour, while it may had initially looked to be part of a comedy gag turns out to be more of a coverup of her actual feelings. She is pretty much an actor who loves to play good cop, bad cop.

Tsubasa and Maria both share this week’s episode and refleact on each other what the current and former events happen.

What do the Noble Red what with Elfnien and does it have to do with Carol’s old Divine Temple from 5D’S knock-off, or rather it’s real name Château de Tiffauges.

I think Miku is about to meet a Custodian and boy am I excited.

Vannesa fanservice ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

And the episode ends off with some strange egg appearing outta nowhere…..

Is this Symphogear G and AXZ all over?

Seeing how the emotional turmoil is making Tsubasai terribly unstable, it leads me to wonder if Millaarc is trying to see what does it take to make Tsubasa suffer to undergo proper emotional development? What type of curse was that in episode 2?

Overall, I would say this was definitely a much better episode than last week. I liked that it set the tone and gave us a better idea of where things appear to be heading by bringing the Tsubasa’s emotional development to the spotlight. Maria’s backstory and more on Kirika and Shirabe.

Oh boy, after what Vanessa said about the origins of Airgetlám and Maria saying that the sound resonates with her I can already see them pulling some bullshit like "Airgetlám is ackchyually a divine relic". I mean, after last season's "Gungnir is actually the Spear of Longinus" bullshit, they made it perfectly clear that they don't give a shit about the original mythos behind these relics. One would think that Gungnir being the spear of Odin would already be enough to be considered a "God Slaying Relic", since the gods from Norse mythology are not immortal / can be killed. But I digress.

Are we going to see any Custodians in this season or did Adam hype them up for nothing? I really hope there's more to this other than fighting the new alchemist trio and getting Miku out of that pinch she's in.

Also, could they please stop torturing Tsubasa even further? After last season we finally thought she had recovered from her traumatic experiences only for this season to come in and completely destroy her psychologically.

Yeah I hope we get something new from the enemies instead of the same old stuff Symphogear have been doing since Season 3.

Also I REALLY hope they don't pull some random bullshit to give Maria divine power. They've clearly established that only Hibiki and Miku can do that so don't go fucking up your plot.

Also just cause I've waited too long to get some HibiMiku fighting for Maria to ruin it.

I believe it's referring to what Maria said at the end of the episode in regards to Miku's Divine Cocoon having a sound that "resonates with her like Apple" - Xenoglassia is the ability to understand a language of which you should have no knowledge, and Maria appears to be understanding a song that she should have no connection to.

Well, for the record, Airgetlam's original myth DOES genuinely connect to an Irish god, so it wouldn't be bullshit.

If Airgetlám turns out to really be a divine relic I wonder how they're going to handle it. Maria shouldn't be able to handle divine power, so either they somehow make Hibiki be able to use Airgetlám or they break their own established rules. And I gotta say, ever since Maria showed up they seem to be pushing her to the front of things more and more every season, so I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to say "fuck it" and have her be a Divine Gear user.

The thing is, EVERY relic on this anime genuinely connects to a god, but the writers of this show always ignore that fact and only remember when it's convenient to them. Like I said, they didn't need to turn Gungnir into the Spear of Longinus for it to be a God Slaying Relic and there's also the fact that pretty much any of the relics in the show could fit into that role. My point is that given their original myths, all of the relics are already "God Slaying Relics" or "Divine Relics" or whatever the show wants to come up with next, but the writers decided to completely ignore that so they can do whatever the fuck with them and that's something I don't really like.

The difference lies in the fact that while the other Gears refer to weapons of gods, and the Zababa blades refer to children of gods, Airgetlam actually refers to the god himself. That said, you're right, it wouldn't make sense for Maria to be capable of housing Divine Power within herself, so thinking about it, the comment may not necessarily be about Maria's Gear itself - it is just a fragment of Airgetlam after all - so perhaps we need to be asking where the rest of the original Relic is?

It's possible the fragment is granting Maria some level of translation with the song emanating from Miku's cocoon, but a fragment is still just a fragment, if the rest of the Airgetlam Relic were to be recovered though, that could lead to something.

I really hope they don't. I'm really sick of Symphogear ignoring the rules they've set up for some temporary spectacle. Its sometimes forgivable if its for say episode 13 so X-Drive in S1 and that golden form in AXZ. But in particular episode 4 of XV annoyed the hell out of me cause it just came out of nowhere. At least with the Ignite module it was explained beforehand then introduced whereas with this they kind of just said "Oh yeah and she has this overpowered thing that we will introduce for it to get sealed immediately so its more "tense" this season".

Sorry for the little rant I just have a very bipolar relationship with XV atm.

Fair enough, that's a good point. I'm still salty that they just pay attention to the original myths of the relics when it's convenient to them. I'm never going to get over that "hurr durr gungnir is ackshualy spear of longinus bcuz reasons" bullshit.

Also, I don't think this anime has enough episodes left for them to spend time focusing on the Airgetlám considering we've yet to see any Custodians, so I think they'll just shove some plot convenience in there to get things moving faster if it turns out that Airgetlám really is a divine relic.

You're not alone on that, I also have my fair share of complaints about XV. I feel the same way about what happened on episode 4. Not only it came out of nowhere, that new transformation should've happened only for Hibiki since it was all about her connection with Saint Germain.

But my main complaint is how the original trio has been reduced to only Hibiki and Tsubasa. Chris barely gets any screen time and doesn't even have any relevance to the story right now. She's just there for the fight scenes and nothing else. And then there's what they're doing to Tsubasa, which I don't like one bit.

To be honest I'm glad they're not doing much with Chris as literally every season Chris has just been given the exact same character arc over and over again that im sick of it. S1 her arc made sense she just joined. S2 ok so shes just settling in makes sense. But then S3 and S4 it kinda got annoying.

Also another thing that annoys me Is Symphogear's obligation to have 3 enemy characters. Why 3 ? So you can nicely pair them up with the heroes ???

Personally I prefer the series when it focuses on the original trio as they are just much more interesting and we've been with them from the beginning. Tsubasa's attitude has been pissing me off but I guess that's the point of what they're trying to do.

I have also seen that complaint a lot that no one but Hibiki did anything in that scene which personally being a Hibiki fan I don't mind. Hibiki has done most of the fighting herself throughout all the seasons anyway so I'm not expecting them to change much.

Btw, this might be one of the greatest things in all of anime:
