| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A lot less romantic compared to the previous episode. This one took a more serious tone too with some background storytelling. I hope this arc won't be dragged tbh although at the same time, I'm interested to see how it will develop. |

| Not a bad episode, less filler-y of an arc, imo. I just hope it doesn't get too extended - 5 episodes max would be what I'm hoping for, however, 3 would be better. There is quite a lot of canon material now, so hopefully after this portion of filler we should have a decent amount of canon (if only) :/ |

| Cool filler, but the story is not very solid and very thin. But as been be expected. The red hair dude has some inside him. Just as expected. Funny seeing that Konohamaru doesn't want him to marry the girl. Do we smell jealousy? :P |

| I get kind of annoyed when Boruto is in almost every episode (well the anime is named after him though...) but I didn’t particularly mind for these episodes. Remon and Konohamaru wouldn’t have gotten closer had Boruto not obliviously set them up to get closer. :( As a sucker for romantic stories I do hope they get together. |

| The true enemy of this arc is the friendzone with konohamaru being the protagonist I really hope they bring konohamaru fight scenes more to the spotlight and not show some quick fight. |

| god what a boring ep, finding it hard to care about this plot/arc at all. The concept of Soma could be cool, maybe it will get more exciting towards the end, just hope it doesn't drag too long. Really feels like they took all of Konohamaru's charisma in Boruto, especially in this ep, like he grew up sure...but he just doesn't seem like the same person at all? He just comes across as boring and not in any way cool. It's really such a shame as he'd be a great character to see portrayed better as an adult in a sequel series. No wonder I kept falling off of watching Boruto around here, the 25th Naruto anniversary made me wanna come back and try out a few eps again at least...maybe if that can get me near to the end of this arc there will be something more exciting to look forward to. |
